What Are Polish Mountain Chickens?
Polish Mountain Chickens are a new and reinvented breed a chicken. They derive mainly from the polish chicken, and hone most of their looks from that breed. However, over the years of development, the Polish Mountain Chickens have been able to produce any known color of chicken. They can range anywhere from a simply black cochin to a complex swedish flower hen.
Naturally, Polish Mountain Chickens are a breed from Poland, but due to being watered down with outcrossing from other breeds, this breed can technically be considered a multicultural bird. Polish Mountain Chickens only hold the body of a regular polish chicken though, and only display colors provided from other breeds.
Since they have had exposure to other breeds, they have a much larger height range, ranging from a bantam size of 10 inches to a massive height of 2 feet. They generally never are higher than 2 feet though, except for special circumstances.
