personality: Thiago can best be described as…..ethereal. Of course he’s physically present, but mentally he seems to be lingering somewhere else most of the time. It’s a bit unsettling for new friends, but not unpleasant, and soon enough they become comfortable with Thiago’s odd ways. There’s a lot more going on in his head than what’s going on in real life, and he can’t really ignore it. Though he may be weird, it becomes quickly apparent to others that Thiago is a pure soul; doesn't have the capacity for evil, go with the flow, would never hurt a fly kinda guy.
He’s someone you don’t have to talk to to know he cares about you; which is good, because he rarely talks in complete sentences. He prefers to make sounds, but they always seem so right, and somehow more honest and descriptive than words. On top of that, Thiago has an accent that puts a strange twist on all his words. Instead, he shows his appreciation and affection through actions and gestures. Thiago may be primarily silent, but he hears everything perfectly fine; his hearing and memory are spectacular actually. Thiago will remember some small, obscure detail a friend told him months or even years ago, and this makes him great at giving gifts and planning surprises.
It also doesn’t take much to make him happy; Thiago never asks for anything in return for his kindness. There’s nothing he genuinely wants, besides being happy and healthy. Thiago’s too occupied chasing butterflies, finding new friends, and sticking his head somewhere new to worry about materialistic things.
Fear, sadness, and malice are foreign concepts to Thiago. Sure he may appear somber at times, but this is just because there isn’t always a connection between how he feels and how he shows it. In reality, Thiago is always at least content. But most negative emotions don’t register with him; it’s never crossed his mind that he could do something cruel or out of anger, it would be impossible.
Thiago has gold running through his veins, and he doesn't even know it - but that's ok.

squad info: Thiago has a “squad” composed of Osha the tapir and Zeotli the albino anaconda. Neither of them can “talk” but Thiago understands and communicates with them just fine. The three are rarely seen apart. Osha is young, excitable, enigmatic, and a bit clumsy/ditzy, so she needs the others to help her stay safe from herself, mostly. Zeotli is older, and a bit scary with a dark side he doesn’t show around Thiago. After all, a snake’s gotta eat. He is definitely the smartest, most cunning, and most aware out of the trio. Thiago first met Zeotli when he was very young, in their shared home in the Amazon Rainforest. The snake was perplexed and intrigued by the kalon’s odd demeanor and they just stuck together ever since. Osha was included to the trio recently after her mother was swept away in a flooded river; Thiago stopped Zeotli from eating her. Since then, the three have been inseparable, spending their days roaming the depths of the Amazon Rainforest.
