- from a very young age , thea was pressured to be an image of perfection . every single detail about had to be perfect . her walk , her talk , her hair , her clothing , and so on . at the age of 14 , when her singing talent was discovered , amalthea was forced into an unwanted limelight that made all of her subjects worship her . thea's voice was apparently "a gift from the heavens" and amalthea was locked away in her castle . her only friends were the birds & insects that flew through her window , and thea lacked any kind of communication with anyone outside of music . every time thea attempted to run away from her stressful & lonely life , she was quickly stopped by a fleet of guards and was reprimanded by her parents . if she ever made it past the forest's edge , she'd book it until her old life was out of sight .
years later , thea is allowed to roam the castle & its surrounding village freely . though , she is often showered with unwanted gifts and attention . all thea wants is a normal life , one where she isn't falsely worshiped . one where she can be her own person . when she marries , she is going to start a new branch of the royal family . she & her husband will not raise their children in limelight , but rather let them grow and develop without pressure to be a certain way .

thea is a rather introverted kalon , preferring her own company & mainly keeping to herself . her calm demeanor masks a nervous & skittish brain , that is usually bouncing around 20 ideas at once . you can usually find her around lakes or ponds , as she loves frogs (which is heavily looked down upon by her parents) and sunbathing . however , thea rarely gets to leave the walls of the east wing so she does not get to do this often .
amalthea really loves reptiles & amphibians of any kind , but her favorites happen to be salamanders . her bedroom is usually scattered with plants , as they help to calm her down & focus her .
