"IS THERE A VOLUNTEER IN THE AUDIENCE?" cried out the pig of a ringleader. his spontaneous snorting was followed by the raising of a bunny's hand.
"for this next magical performance, I shall cut this bunny in half and then safely return him into one piece!" shouted the mouse magician. the crowd cheered, but the bunny was very nervous.
"what if it doesn't work?" he thought. he couldn't back out now, he was already laid into the box by the pig. the wooden box was closed and the bunny could hear a saw cutting the wood already.
the magician whispered into a hole in the box.
"curl up into a... er fetal position!!! as tight as you can" the crowd gasped. the mouse assured them he was trying to calm down the panting bunny with a racing heart. the bunny curled up tight, big long ears, hair, tail and all.
soon the saw ground the box violently, until it was split in half. the bunny took a deep breath and exhaled. it was over! and... he was in one piece, however, his dress was ripped a little at the bottom. he could just sow it back together, though.

the mouse showed the audience that the box was indeed split in half. he would put the box together and reveal that the bunny was inside, alive, and in one piece! the crowd cheered and watched in wild amazement. they clapped so loud it hurt the bunny's ears. the mouse bowed, the pig snorted, and the show was over. the bunny was about to leave the stage.
"HEY!! whats your name?" the mouse yelled out to him
"i'm octavio..." said the bunny.
"you were wonderful out there! the crowd loved you! i would like you to join me as my magical assistant!" the mouse said excitedly.
"oh that sounds fun! i'd love to.." said octavio. he had nothing better to do anyway.
"my name's march by the way. could you meet me back here at 9AM tomorrow ?" the mouse said impatiently. he had to clear the stage alone.
"yes! see you!" the bunny said cheerfully. he ran to the exit, looked back to see if march was still there, and then they both waved at one another.
