Norix's personality - He is the more friendlier one of the two, meaning that he is more submissive than his twin. Becoming shy and nervous, when meeting others for the first time. Considering that he doesn't want anyone to be scared around him, as well as not wanting to be alienated from the rest of his kind. However, he isn't afraid to stand up for others, due to knowing the difference between right and wrong. Causing him to become the 'conscience' of their shared body, by letting his older twin know on what the consequences of his actions would lead to. Although, he can't really say much, due to his own actions being just as reckless as the older one's. He is also friendly and kind hearted, towards those in need of either help, guidance or just a bit of comfort. Considering that he has an understanding nature, and knows on what to do within each situation. Often trying his best to cheer others up, in order to let them know that he does care about what happens to them. Although, he does need to remind his friends that he is still there, whenever his older twin takes over. Considering that he knows on what his twin is like to his companions, and tries his best to prevent the possibility of a fight. However, he isn't afraid to fight when his brother isn't in control. Due to having a secretive darker side, that only comes out when his patience is run dry. Using his skills to the best of his ability, as well as being sarcastic towards his opponent. Although, he will only fight if he has no other choice, or if he is forced to against his will. Which is why he often allows the other soul to take over, if there is a possibility of a confrontation.
Tasran's personality - He is the more aggressive one out of the two, meaning that he is the more dominant one out of the two souls. Which often means that he is the one who mostly has control over their shared body. Instantly becoming either suspicious or cautious, when around other marra's, since he isn't as naïve as his twin. Only letting his guard down if it is someone he trusts and feels safe around. He is also vastly intelligent, often using his skills to figure out the best way on how to get out of a sticky situation or on how to use your opponents strength against them if backed into a corner. However, he knows better than to pick a fight with someone who is stronger than them. Considering that he knows his limits, as well as the ones that his twin has. But he can be cold hearted and cruel to others if his patience is pushed past his tolerance level. Often becoming hostile and sadistic if other marra's think that they can push both himself and his twin around and get away with it. If pushed too far, then it will most likely end with someone losing an eye. However, thankfully it will never come to that, due to the fact that he will always be quickly calmed down by his twin. But beneath his tough outer shell, he is actually kind and caring. Considering that he sees the other soul as a younger brother, and takes it upon himself to look after him. Which is why he will try his best to get along with others, for his brother's sake. As well as to try and offer either a shoulder to cry on, or some advice for those in need of help.
Their relationship - They have a brotherly relationship with one another, due to being 'born' in the same body and therefore growing up together. Tasran is very protective of Norix, and often defends his younger twin whenever he isn't in control or doesn't have the ability to either talk back or fight back. This is due to the fact that he is the older twin, and therefore takes his responsibilities over the younger one more seriously. While Norix on the other hand, greatly admires his older twin's braver and everything he has done for him. But that doesn't mean he isn't as important as the older, considering that he has actually helped Tasran to become more friendlier towards other marra's. As well as helping him to develop his emotions, and to help others in need. However, like every sibling, they don't always get along. Considering that they've been caught bickering to themselves, whenever they don't agree on something. Since Tasran is the older and more mature soul, while Norix is the younger and more childish soul. This can sometimes lead to a fight, which will hurt the feelings of the other. Even going as far as to cause them to not speak to each other, even when the other is trying to ask for help. However, because they are linked, they can feel one another's pain and grief. Which can lead to them to becoming concerned for the other, and later try to talk it over once they've both calmed down.
Because of their twin souls being in the same body, they have developed a special sixth sense that lets them know on how the other is both feeling and thinking. Causing their brotherly bond to become even stronger. Since they both fill the gap within one another's flaws, and make each other stronger when in the company of others. Which is why they combined their names to form 'Notas'. Since at rare times, they will often like to mess with their loved ones by correcting them constantly on who is actually in control. Which can become very irritating if your not them. However, they quickly informed their friends that they will have to call them by their new name, in order to make it easier on everyone. Tasran is the one who is more active at night, therefore allowing his twin to sleep throughout the night. But also to protect them from possible danger, that may think it can sneak up on them. While Norix is more active within the day, which is why he is mostly energetic. While also giving his older twin a chance to rest from the night watch, so that he can keep an eye out within the day. However, they can both be awake and asleep at the same time, but only if they are around others and feel comfortable enough to do so.
While it may seem like Tasran doesn't care much about Norix, it is actually the opposite. Considering that as annoying and sufferable as the younger twin may be, he actually brings life and joy into the older souls life. Allowing him to feel warm and loved, due to the fact that he isn't alone and has someone to talk to when no one else is there. The younger soul is his star in the night sky, giving him guidance when he needs it the most. Filling his lack of emotions with a new perspective of the world, as well as giving him a reason to fight. Meanwhile, with Norix, Tasran seemed at first to be a bossy and annoying older brother. But as he began to get to know the other soul, that lived within their shared body. He began to realise that his twin, was like a cloud within the morning sky. Holding him high and dry, above the oncoming storms. As well as reassuring him that he is loved and cared for. Not to mention filling his flaw of insecurity, and replacing it with determination to prove others wrong. To one another, they are each others day and night, light and dark, moon and sun. A small light with the darkness, that keeps one another going. Which is why they are proud to be called 'Notas', because as long as they stood united, they could do anything.
