Open to tentative crushes ! <33 She's interested in females mostly.
Please note I wont plan on breeding her when she's a adult !
She is a maiko, a apprentice of a geiko training to become a geisha.
Once she is grown, she will become a geisha. Hanae is considered unique, as she is
the only performer baring a mermaid tail. As a geiko, she is regarded as a more popular
and favoured geiko.
Set in a modern time period (1970-present day)?
1959 was the year the old Mizuage ceremony was made illegal.
She resides in Japanese waters, and needs to be pushed around in a, rather comical, wheelbarrow filled with
water. Hanae despises her fish tail, and feels it is preventing her from reaching her full potential as a dancer.
She works as a geisha on the weekends, in the evenings. Her performance is a little different, as she performs
in water (or a pool) rather on stage.

A Geisha, or Geiko, is a traditional Japanese hostess, trained to entertain others with conversation, dance, games and song.
They often serve tea, and are skilled in playing classical music. Geisha are still active in the modern world.
A Maiko is a apprentice geiko, usually much younger and less skilled compared to a professional geiko. They
train under the help of a older geiko. Maiko are older children or very young adults. Only maiko wear these elaborate hairdos, kimonos and obis. Geisha are quite plainly dressed and their kimonos more subdued, with shorter sleeves.
As seen here, maiko usually dress in more colourful kimono, compared to the geisha in the black kimono.
