why are they late?

Why is the key word to this question.
Why is something even Kipper doesn't truly know.
Why exactly is there a need to be on time for simple events?
Kipper searches for these answers on a daily basis as he casually runs late
for nearly everything he initially signs up for.

As day turns to night, and night into day, Kipper finds himself always neck deep within a dream.
Being a dream found within rest or a dream of the day, there is no real sense of reality for this young babu.
He doesn't truly feel as if where he is in his physical state is where he truly belongs which in turn leads to him being rather forgetful.
Being born purely white in a world full of color could possibly be to blame, but then again, it might not be.
His curiosity has always got the best of him.

He gets distracted fairly easily, which is also part of the problem he has with tardniess.
He'll be focused upon one task for at least 5 minutes and then he'll stumble upon a random object and stare at it for nearly an hour. Kipper is not entirely sure if his short attention span will ever end, or if he'll ever make it to any event on time, but he surely is in no rush to fix that

Hello again journal, it seems as if we are meeting once again. For it seems like only yesterday I purchased you from the store when I was supposed to be going to the grand tea party ordered by his lordship. Not sure why he feels the need to host a party every two hours but that's all on him.

While on my way to my luch date with a rather peculiar fellow I stumbled upon the most magnificent of objects. It is rather rust,
and needs a good polish but it'll have to do for now. It was a spring! Probably the last spring I'll need for my project, that is ever I ever get around to it. I'm always late with starting on appropriate dates. It's a rather bad hobby that needs to be broken, I'm just...in a slump as I don't even know where to begin.
