Name: Juturna
Gender: Female
Personality:
Juturna is a bubbly gal who likes to make friends wherever she goes. Her sweet, albeit a bit childish, sounding voice makes her easy to approach. Because of how young she sounds, many of those who meet her often are clueless to how old she truly is, and will often treat her like a child. Juturna never really minds it if it sounds like they mean well; she'll only take offense if they try to belittle her. For the most part, she always assumes the best of everyone, and will do her best to help out those around her. She's not judgmental in the slightest, as first impressions don't mean much to her. She cherishes everyone that she meets, as she loves how unique each individual can be; in addition to that, she also realizes that everyone lives their own separate life that is unique to just them, which causes her to become interested in learning more about them.
The young merkal is easily impressed and very excitable; she constantly feels the need to give verbal compliments to those who perform in front of her. Juturna is quite the supportive individual, often giving out words of encouragement to those who don't necessarily succeed in what they're trying to do.
She is, to put it bluntly, very naive when it comes to most conversation subjects. She's an innocent individual who sees the world in a black and white fashion, and even then, she tries to see the good inside it. Many people try to take advantage of this trait of hers; she has accidentally leaked too much information to the wrong people before, and it's expected to happen again in the future. Those around her who are trying their best to keep their secrets kept secret will often avoid telling her, even when she questions as to why they're acting suspicious.
Juturna can also be a bit forgetful at times. During random periods of her life, she'll experience headaches that'll force her to rest. For the most part, she'll forget what had happened around the time she encountered the headache; she struggles with remembering things that occur during the time she has the headache as well. When the pain fades away, she resumes her normal, peppy self, however.

- Exists in two canons, similar to Masika and Aithne
- Past and modern canon
Past Canon:
- One of the five fairies that live in fountains across the world. (Masika is the Greatest Fairy, Aithne is the Fire Great Fairy, Juturna is the Water Great Fairy; two unnamed Great Fairies still exist residing over Earth and Air)
- Juturna specializes in singing grand melodies as she lazily floats in her fountain's fresh, cool water
- She has a superb sense of direction; travelers who are seeking a person or treasure will often ask her for help
- Protects the Water Orb (Orb that carries vast knowledge and insight about the world around it)
- Is perhaps the sweetest of the Great Fairies
- Even though many people think of Fire and Water being the greatest foes to each other, it's actually quite the opposite; the Fire Great Fairy, Aithne, absolutely adores Juturna. They visit each other often below the fountains' waters, and often give out quests to travelers in order to deliver mail and items to each other.
Modern Canon:
- Rebirth of her past canon; she still retains the same personality traits, but she doesn't carry the same memories
- Born from seafoam
- Close to Aithne, both as a friend and as a family member; Aithne often protects Juturna from others
- Aithne and her both enjoy listening to 80s music and singing together (the only time Aithne gets upset at Juturna is when she tells other people how amazing Aithne's voice is, as she tries to pretend that she can't sing for she's too embarrassed about it)
- Friday I'm in Love by The Cure is her jam
- Still super great in terms of singing
- Loves gifting other people; constantly makes things, especially "flower" crowns, from kelp, sea anemones, and more
