She watched him prance, pale and pretty as any bird of peace, though his nature surely not. A creamy neck arched, as long legs daintily glided over even paler sand. Lovely as anything, silver bells ringing with every stride, he made for a beautiful visage against sandy shores and distant lapping waves in the morning's ivory glow. Yet for a moment, the tide's siren song rang louder than his charms and bindings, than any man-made trappings, and suddenly violet eyes turned wild as sea-swept froth.

A sharp shriek, a squeal, vicious canines flashing bone white in the dawning light, and the illusion of a docile mount was shattered to even the most unseasoned of observers. Capall uisce were wild at heart, and no amount of training nor trappings could change the nature of the best.
Beautiful they may be, but lethal all the same.
