A Chima Lou is a lore-rich species from the world of Isethef. They are similar in muzzle shape to a canine,
but more stocky like a big cat. Though they aren't related to any of these species. Their true roots link them more similarly to werewolves and were-creatures.
In the past, they were mages- great mages who's magic allowed them the ability to transform themselves into creatures, most commonly- A Chima Lou. These forms were magical hybrids that assisted mages in their work- Strong climbers and claws, tails for balance, and strong jaws. They created forms that were 'ideal' for their needs and defending themselves.
In historical use, the Chima form was used to gather rare, difficult to obtain magical ingredients and fight off dangerous creatures.
However- some just enjoyed the form in contrast to a human one and maintained it for extended periods of time. Each Chima, upon transformation, would store its 'soul' in the necklace it wore upon its neck- a font of storing their human-form's magical power that they could draw from at will.
Upon the collapse- where magic largely left the world, a group of mages who had been in this form..lost almost all of their magical power, and were thus stranded. Condemning them to this new life in these new bodies. They retained their human intelligence, and as the world pressed on- so did they with a new future.

→Non-staff users can not create Chima Lou without a MYO ticket as they are a closed species
→ You may not alter existing designs in any way, nor add edits without earned items
→ You may add items to your Chimas ref at any time. This is fine.
→ However, you may NOT remove their pendant.
→ Do not claim to own someone elses Chima Lou

→A Chima Lou may be any gender/sexuality/ect
→You may own as many Chima Lou as you like
→Chima Lou are a free species, that cannot be sold or traded at this time. If you no longer want your chima, you may put them up for readoption or gift them
→Any gender Chima can breed
→Inbreeding is prohibited
→Breedings may only be done by official staff
→Chima can breed up to 5 times each
→You must own a Chima for a week before breeding
→ Chima must be adults to breed
→Begging/harassing for nursery babies is not permitted
→There is a week cooldown for individual Chima to breed
→They are not required to be mates to breed
→Babies may be grown after 2 weeks, but after growth must wait a week before breeding. (So a chima must be 3 weeks old before breeding.)
