Every year songrems as a species celebrate a holiday of their very own! A fire festival to celebrate the songrem being of fire and celebration! Its a lavish festival with many decorations, fireworks, and fire dancing! Songrems usually spend all year stealing special fireworks and colorful decorations just in preparation for this fun event!

The songrems have set up booths for food, games, and places to hang out- and the park management has decided to allow it in the hopes they'll leave afterward.

How to participate!
Fire festival is a mini-event for the last duration of the summer event!
Its formatted like a group-roleplay! Using your songrem to explore the party and hang out with other songrems.
Every finished post will earn you 1 ring (50 word minimum).

Sorry on delay! This section was postponed slightly due to something coming up, but it is now live!

I'll do a post to start it, keep your eyes peeled for a very special guest songrem...

Keto stared with big round eyes at the sparkles lighting up the night sky, the first of many fireworks that were being let off to spread like flowers across the expanse of black space. It wasn't the space he was familiar with- but it was beautiful nonetheless. He was entranced until another Songrem toppled into him, knocking him back to reality. His tongue sticking out as he ran off he looked for some shenanigans to get into. No one was safe- he'd been causing trouble the entire time the rest of his kind was setting up. His newest victim? The shopkeeper managing a little stand selling sparklers.

Running headlong into it- he tumbled and crashed into the side, sending the little sparkler-sticks rolling across the cement. "No-nono!" the shopkeeper protested, fumbling their little paws in an effort to grab the objects rolling away before they fell into the pool.

Lying by the pool, Aponi was enjoying an ice-cream pop as the fireworks went off. Dropping her snack, Aponi's claws slid on the cement as she watched in horror at the falling sparklers and she made an effort to catch some, but only three made their way into her paws. Wide-eyed, she returned to them to the shopkeeper, whom was thankful but seemed preoccupied with chewing another songrem's ear off about the incident; it was apparent he was quite upset. Sighing, Aponi returned to the pool, sticking her paw over the side to attempt to fish the rest out, now wet and drudged in chlorine.

Scribbles had saw the whole incident and walked over to Keto, of course after the shopkeeper was done screaming at him. Scribbles crept over and asked "Hey, do you need any help? Maybe a bandaid? I saw your spill."

Scribbles then laughed and offered a paw to help him up, smiling.
