Sweetnose Mastiff #68

Postby Neah » Mon Jun 19, 2017 10:24 am

First of the four.

Sweetnose Mastiffs are a large working breed that are guard, hunting, and companion dogs. They require a fair amount of energy, meaning they are not suitable for sitting in a home all day unless the owner expects chewed up furniture. Sweetnose Mastiffs are very affectionate and friendly, although generally intimidating; they are quite intelligent and are eager to please, making them a good pet for those in active lifestyles.

You may only win 2 pups max.

For these babes comps we're asking for personality, and then your choice of one of these four extras:
One of their quirks (500 word max)
Favorite memory (500 words max)
A playlist (5 songs max)
Picture/ Gif to describe them (5 max)

We aren't gonna allow extras but prettying up is fine.

Showname: Distant Revolutions
Call Name: Marley
Gender: Female
Weight: 103 lbs
Height: 28 in
Personality: Marley is a very independent Sweetnose and sometimes considered to be a loner. Preferring to spend time by herself rather than in the company of others, she could be considered to be a lone wolf. However, in the presence of others, which isn't too often and more than likely not by choice, she is friendly, yet quite distant. Tending to keep quiet and allow others to talk rather than interjecting with her opinion or her part in the conversation. Although, she will talk when spoken to or asked a question to avoid being rude. Despite her cold looking nature, Marley indeed does have a heart of gold dedicated to her work. Like other Sweetnoses on the farm she is worked. She loves nothing more than to move and herd together the more wild equine residents at the reserve. Her keen and ambitious nature means she just can't help but do her job. When spending time in her kennel or roaming the lands with the grounds keeper, Marley is curious and can't help herself when she hears something new or interesting or catches wind of a really good scent. Her favourites being rabbit or fox. Both of which are highly prevalent in the area. However, being the obedient Sweetnose she is, Marley will always come back when called, even if her curious mind just doesn't want to let go.

Quirk: Being the adventurer she is, Marley can't help but get herself in some pretty sticky situations. Whether it be waist deep in mud or knocking something over and trapping herself in one of the barns. However, the most interesting one is finding her a good way up a tree. The tree wasn't exactly the biggest but it was tall enough and the branches seemed to be wide enough for her to stand. Marley has found this to be a place where squirrels and other furries tend to hide. So instead of waiting at the base of the tree to come down, Marley has decided to take it into her own paws and climb up after them. Even if she did get stuck the first few times. A fence has been put up to try and stop her from reaching the tree, but she either digs underneath it or simply jumps it depending on her mood.

Showname: DRRSK Music Note
Call Name: Jazz
Gender: Female
Weight: 95 lbs
Height: 25 inches
Personality: Jazz is a very playful, sweet, music-loving pup with a hidden talent for mischief. She's the kind of dog who will see someone on the street, and her tail will go a mile a minute as she pulls her poor owner along behind her to greet her new friend.
Favorite memory: Jazz's favorite memory is the day her owners, Karvanna and Yami, brought her home and discovered her love for music. She had been lying on the couch, listening to her humans talking about this and that, when she felt Karvanna rise to her feet. She watched curiously as Karvanna walked across the room to a wooden box-thing with a glass front, it had smaller black boxes in it, with a bunch of buttons and dials. Karvanna grabbed a flat, shiny frisbee, except it had a hole in it, and put it in one of the boxes and suddenly, the various large black boxes up on shelves and ledges around the house sprang to life, spitting out music. Jazz's tail began to wag as she hopped off the couch and began to bounce around, dancing in her own, bizarre Jazzy way. Jazz was surprised when Yami grabbed her front legs and helped her stand on her hind paws. They danced together while Karvanna giggled to herself from the kitchen, observing her girls having the time of their lives.
