Aria, Female

Bio:

Aria's never quite been able to keep her wanderlust in check. Despite the love she fosters for her family
(two loving fathers who've supported her every step of the way, and a sister who never hesitated to
enable her) she's always kept a longing eye on the horizon, and it shows in every action she takes. She's
a restless kalon by nature, and never quite mastered the art of sitting still (which, admittedly got her
into more trouble than what it was worth as a young child... her rambunctious sibling definitely didn't
help her case). She never seems to pass up the chance to try or experience a new thing and never lets
her inhibitions hold her back (or caution her, for that matter). She still sports faint scars and scrapes
from doing stupid stunts as a young child, and nowadays she wears these imperfections with pride,
even while her parents lament how many times they've had to pull her out of trouble. Thankfully
she has a better head on her shoulders nowadays.

Occupation: Journalism

Aria didn't always enjoy journalism. It could have been a passing fancy at first, but with teachers
who didn't give her many passes from her inability to sit still (still stings to this day to be considered
dumb by them for something she couldn't control as a child) she never had much love for academics.

The one who got her into journalism and documentary was a distant friend of her father, Francis. He
always seemed to understand more than anyone else her fixation on the unknown. Though his teachings
were subtle, he taught Aria how to craft a story through writing, audio, or film while also indulging
her insatiable curiosity by allowing her to travel with him. Aria's thankful that her parents were so
supportive- while it was obvious they longed for her to stay by their side, they knew more than anyone
else the dangers of clipping her wings. They knew she'd always return to them.

For her job as a journalist, Aria travels in the sense that she's always following international current
events/world conflicts for the agency that sponsors her, so she's given free reign more or less. She
likes to travel but there are times where she has to stick to a place to follow a story, which
sometimes never bodes well with those she's with at the time. Though she valiantly attempts to
reign her investigative nature in, all of her pent up restlessness concentrates into nosiness. While
not a gossiper by nature, her need to stay 'in-the-know' and informed about situations around her
makes her a bit too interested in the most mundane details about other beings. She loves painting
a picture about a creature from these tiny facts. Her ability to simply get to know a person makes
her personable in the eyes of others and more open-minded about all different walks of life, but
strangely enough, she doesn't reveal much about herself in return.

As for the length of time that Aria does her journalist work, it's a bit sporadic, which makes
returning home on schedule a challenge- some stories could keep her in a region for a few days
or weeks, others months at a time. She has breaks in between her more lengthy projects that
only last about a month or two. She cherishes the time she can spend with her small family,
but it's not long before her job calls her back to the horizon.

With her journalism job, she tries to be as unbiased as possible, but nonetheless she has a bias
geared toward the fact that people are looking out for their own interests first and foremost
when it comes to her stories. Her interest lies in finding out if those interests are detrimental
or beneficial. She's a bit of a cynic in that case and makes friends with a bit of difficulty due
to her own cautionary nature and despite her willingness to know more about others. And yet,
any friends she does gain know but her to be loyal to a fault.

Despite Aria's easily distracted nature, she's the type of person to experience constant wonder
at the world around her. Around her family or doing what she loves, she's humorous in her own
restless way and impulsive. {723 words total}
