-Summary-
Enjoying the calmness vapour brings he never thought that one day it could become life-saving when he was stranded aboard a space station that was going through hell. It was a day of excitement to fly up to the space station, to join the colony of others that have been living up there, that have been studying alien organism and expanding the search for other life beyond our own. Ziigs job was an engineer to help maintain the station and keep it in proper working order. He often found himself crawling through vents and repairing pipe work daily, with the odd job of repairing something in the labs for a touch of difference in the routine of his work.
While repairing a slice in a vent he didn't question how something could physically rip through it or that it looked claw-like... He was just doing his job and welding it shut to repair it. Little to his knowledge but one of the specimens the scientist were working on had escaped and had begun its gruesome act of revenge for being held captive for so long. While in the confines of the vents he listened to the begin of the attack, and there he stayed till things died down enough where he felt safe to leave. Puffing away he exhaled the vapour clouds to calm his nerves as he tried to figure out what was going on. Still carrying his welding kit he exhaled another cloud when he noticed it came to a stop a few feet in front of him. Instead of just floating off and disappearing it stopped as if it hit a wall...but nothing was there. Ziig had unknowingly encountered the alien creature and was about to discover a weakness with its camouflage technique. The thick smell of his vapour distracted the creature long enough to allow his escape, but he'd have to be careful next time he puffed a cloud out, as the creature would now know it's scent.
Thus began his need for survival, using the vapour clouds to check halls and ventilation as he travelled through the space station and worked on his escape. He had some luck that the creature was blind, so if he had a close encounter he could make a quiet escape if he distracted the creature with a sound- often throwing some nuts and bolts to the side then running off.
- Goals/motivation-
Besides the obvious goal of survival and to somehow escape the doomed space station he works on. He has other goals and motivations in life, the largest being to build his own space station. Since first landing the job to work on one he's been fascinated with the mechanics it takes to keep the station alive and running. He sees the flaws in the one he's on and constantly is thinking of ways to improve it....so he has a side goal to make his own- though this would take a long time and a lot of money... So the goals mildly changed to surviving the alien attack and repairing the station so it could be in working order again.
