Quetzalcatls, often shortened to just Catls, are a strange and elusive
breed of sand cats which have only recently been discovered.
Noted as docile and actually quite smart, they have been accepted
as companions and taken in to many people's homes. While
scientists are still studying them, they believe that they
had been created since the dawn of the Earth, and are
part of Earth's many deities that protect it from harm.

xxxxxxxxxMariah's favourite holiday is Cinco de Mayo. This is her favourite holiday because her little clan(?) of Quetzacatl are from the region of Mexico and since Quetzacatl's have been around since the dawn of time the tradition of Cinco de Mayo has been passed down from Quetzacatl to Quetzacatl and she enjoys celebrating it each year. She also enjoys teaching others about the traditions of Cinco de Mayo so that they are all able to celebrate it together and live together in peace. Every year that she celebrates it, it reminds her of the days that she celebrated Cinco de mayo with her family before she began her quest to find a companion to continue to celebrate this holiday with.
xxxxxxxxxHow Mariah celebrates this holiday each year is by traveling back to Mexico to enjoy in the festivities where she originally learned about this lovely holiday. She watches the historical re-enactments of the Battle of Puebla. She sneaks onto one of the parade floats and she dines on the best food that the country could offer. She also attends the Festival Internacional de Puebla and Festival Internacional del Mole if she has time. She loves this holiday so very much.

Laika's favorite holiday is definately April Fools day, why? Because she is a massive prankster? No. Laika loves April fools because of the creativity, she loves the fact that people come up with amazing ideas to prank the friends, sure the idea behind it isn't too... kind and caring, but it's meant for laughs and good spirited. Laika doesn't indulge in pranking anyone but she does enjoy scrolling through social media and generally witnessing the funny and creative things people do on April fools. Another reason Laika loves April fools is because her friends always come up with a (harmless) prank and enjoy every single second of setting it up, and she lives to see her friends happy.

favorite holiday : if there's one holiday that adah loves, it's probably-definitely diwali. the beautiful colors and lights are just stunning to him and it's so much fun. the hindu catl has so much fun painting little designs on his paws. after all, diwali is a festival of lights,and this catl is always up for them! he hangs lights around the trees and has so much fun lighting them up. you wouldn't be surprised if adah is very peppy over autumn.. and i'm sure you know why. diwali is a festival that is celebrated in india in autumn so adah's favorite season is also autumn. C: his pelt color definitely reflects his personality and the design on his eye reminds him of his artwork with henna. of course, henna is also a beautiful thing that adah and his family does. lovely gorgeous flowers on their paws, what more could a catl ever want? adah is definitely an introvert but if you ask him about anything on the subject of his heritage, he will be more than happy to talk. (hope it's at least 100 words :3)

Favorite Holiday : Halloween. Although she is just teeny tiny, Allie loves nothing more than using her smarts to scare the living heck out of anyone who happens to stumble upon her habitat that day. She's crafted haunted houses, hay rides, anything that has ever been used to celebrate Halloween, Allie has tried it! Her attractions are now quite popular, and when she's not scaring humans, she's throwing fun, spooky parties for her other Catl friends!
