Things change too quickly, the butterfly lays the egg, it hatches into a catterpilllar and then it goes into a cocoon and our comes the buttterfly, and then the cycle starts over, the seasons change, when I wish it could be summer forever, so I could explore further than the seasons and weather permit, I don't want to be trapped like a bird in a cage, I wanna be free, and discover the animals, the bugs, the plants, but when winter comes it ends, and things get harder, exploring is just not fun and the indoors is the only option... at least for me... if only the seasons didn't change even if only for a year, so I could go beyond and explore with fireflies light guiding me, my ideas and dreams may be abstract but it makes me sad to see the seasons change and the world change with it, by the end of the year... it's like everything changed, and I can't catch up with that, That's why I want to explore the world of today and be able to slow down and observe for once." Her sadness over failure is due to the fact that she has incredibly high hopes and dreams, sometimes unattainable in their grandeur, and while this fills her with great happiness when attempting them, it fills her with great sorrow upon failure. It's devastating to see that optimism doesn't get you everywhere and that what you hoped for so long has slipped from your grasp. As for hot air balloons, her most clear and concise memory of her father is when he took her for a ride in a hot air balloon when she was just a pup. Not too long after he abandoned their family - seemingly disappearing off the face of the earth without a trace - and thus ruining her memory of hot air balloons forever.

Sad? ;; Yenna tends to be sad when the others around her are sad or feeling depressed. She can't help but try to imagine how they feel as if she was in their shoes. She's especially sad when the parents of the child she watches have problems with money or when the children are having family issues. She often does what she can to make them feel better, offering to possibly watch the child for free at the daycare or comfort them the best she can. She wants everyone to just be happy and knowing she can't do that tends to make her sad as well. While working with the less privileged and running a daycare for the children who live in those areas is something that she loves it tends to show how bad others lives are and she can only do so much to make it all better.

Sad? ;; Jackaday gets sad if he gets overly dirty. He hates mud because of something bad that happened when he was a child. His brother and he were hopping around and playing after a particularly heavy rainfall, and his brother slipped and dove head-first into a mud puddle that was deeper than it appeared. The poor pup hit a rock at the bottom of the puddle and got a concussion, along with breaking both of his front legs. Jackaday always remembers this memory and blames himself for the situation, even though it wasn't really his fault. Because of this, he gets sad whenever he is around muddy things, or if he has to go outside after a heavy rain and sees the dirty puddles lining the streets. He prefers the sunshine and heat over cold, dreary rains because of his history with that type of weather, so he tends to be sadder in rainy weather.
