Theme song: xXx Personality:Abe is friendly to strangers to an extent; pleasant to talk to but if you do something wrong he will not hesitate to defend himself. He tends to not get involved with others much like a lone wolf, as getting attached to someone always leads to trouble for him. Despite travelling by himself, he doesn't feel lonely at all. He feels whole when he's on a motorcycle - the pulsing hum of the engine and the feeling of the wind through his fur is all the company he needs. He is always a logical thinker. His logic helps him keep a level head in any situation, so he can comprehend his situation fully before acting. While he might think carefully of his actions, he enjoys taking risks. His whole journey is about escaping, but when someone taunts him he cant help himself from accepting any challenge that might be thrown his way.
History ----
BeforeAbraham's birth name is Abigale. He lived a peaceful life, with the company of his father and grandmother, as his own mother had passed away. He would often spend his time at his grandmother's house, his father seldom around because of his work. While he did love his father, even in his absence, he loved his grandmother even more so. When he came out to his grandmother as trans, he didn't get the reaction he was hoping for and felt hurt. he pretended he was joking and carried on with his life, never telling his father.
----
Right nowAt the age of 16, he got his motorcycling license. That was the turning point, where he decided to transition from girl to boy, but without any major body differences. He wears chest binders, and deals with the rest. After dropping out of school and running away from home, he decided to go on a journey: visit every city in his state. The part he enjoys the most is traveling. To pay for his living expenses, he hunts and sells the kills for money. During off season, he works odd jobs, ensuring that he continues to earn money. When he began, he promised himself never to stay in a city for longer than 4 days. This rule manifested to avoid people recognizing him from the infamous amber alert that swept his state, flashing announcements of the missing underage girl he left behind in his past.
Quirks:Abraham has strange quirks. He's an obsessive gum chewer, a devoted knuckle cracker and has a bad habit of accepting stupid dares. He spends one third of this income on gum, and is always chewing the same brand of gum. Much like a smoker, he gets aggravated when he cant find his favourite brand of gum. Its not unusual that he'll skip meals, preferring to not spit out his gum to stop and eat. Despite what people tell him about knuckle cracking (it gives you arthritics, blah blah), it's become a mindless habit where he does it without even realizing. Growing up, he always wanted to be accepted, and started accepting dares for silly stuff. Often times, he would get pocket money for doing them. He would continue to do them over the years, even when they would get dangerous. He's garnered a small ego and a bit of infamy for liking risky gambles.
Favourites/LikesSports - Abraham Really enjoys the sport of hunting, but above that he loves skeet shooting. He finds it fun shooting down the clay pigeons because he isnt very good at hitting flying targets as he is with still or running targets so it creates a bit of a challenge for him.
Hobbies - Abe surprisingly likes knitting and sewing, something about being able to create something from nearly nothing makes him happy and he uses it as a stress reducer.
Food - Abes favourite food and comfort has become meat, often hot dogs. He doesn't care what type of meat was used to make it but he just likes meat enough to accept what ever he is given.
Drink - Abe's favourite go to drink is always root beer, something about it makes him feel more mature and less like a lost boy who ran away.
Season - Abe likes any season as long as there isn't snow, as to say he prefers summer due to how much cheaper it is to travel in heat then worrying about if he will get frost bite.
Animal - Abe isnt much of an animal person with the exception for hunting, though due to being a hunter he has grown to respect wolves greatly. He likes how they hunt in packs to make up for their own individual weakness and he rather envies the relations he all keep with each other.
Colour - Abes favourite colour is easily red, not only for the obvious reasons but because growing up in what felt like an empty house he was surrounded with pictures his mothers marvelous red eyes.
DislikesSports - Abes least favourite sport would have to be football, he isn't exactly physically fit and does not like the idea of having to ram in to another foxer to try to get a ball past a white line on a huge field.
Food - Abe absolutely hates pumpkin pie, he used to eat it so much as a kid he became sick and tired of it and the thought of eating another slice makes him sick to his stomach.
Drink - Abe dislikes the taste of alcohol, he has only tried it a few times but he really hates the flavor of it even the fruity stuff. Only drink he hates more then that is grape pop due to the colour and flavor.
Season - Abe absolutely dreads winter because winter means extra insurance, extra coats, extra equipment and more money then he has to keep warm, he cannot even drive through the night and just take a nap on the side of the road like he does in the summer because it gets so cold at night.
Animal - Abe may or may not be terrified of snakes, something about having no legs scares him and he is creeped out by the tongue flick that they do.
Colour - Abes most hated colour is purple, hes not sure why but it makes him angry to see the colour, from some bitter memory that he doesn't remember.
GoalsAbe has no real long term goals for his life, he wants to see how long he can maintain this facade of stability that he has going on. His main goal for life is to run, he wants to stay far away from the depressing life he was leading and come to some place where he can start over. Its unlikely he will ever go back to education and is bound to stick to the odd jobs and hunting unless he gets a seriously good offer for a full time job.
FearsAbe has many fears, its what helps keep him awake at night and on the road. He fears that one day he might get in to a accident and either know one will know who he is and he will be buried in a nameless grave, or even worse, that someone might know him and he will be sent back to his old home. He is afraid that he will fall asleep on the road and never make it to his next destination, he's afraid that he won't be able to make enough money to buy food or to get a bed to sleep the night.
RegretsAbraham's biggest regret would be that he never told his dad what was going on with him, how he felt, and that he never told his dad goodbye. His father worked so hard to help the both him and his grandma. Abe feels guilty that he just left with no explanation, for a man who's wife is dead and his daughter (son) was his whole life and purpose of being alive.
The Cloak and the wolf? Both the cloak and the wolf are precious to him, they are the only things he brought on his person when he ran away from home. The cloak is something he is always wearing, often with the hood down. It keeps him warm, and has ended up giving him the name 'The Red Rider', as all any one sees is a red streak as he blares down the streets at high speeds. The Cloak was originally a baby blanket he had since he was born, one that his mother had hand stitched before she died in child birth. When he was too big to keep the blanket his father had stitched it so that he could instead wear it as a cloak and keep his mother close to him no matter where he goes.
The Wolf plushy was his best friend growing up, he always felt odd out among the girls who tried to befriend him when he was still known as Abigale. He rather read about cars, not play with dolls but this plushy was a special gift from one of the few foxers he let get close to him - a young boy a year older then him had decided to become friends with him. He had been the original owner of the plushy. They stayed friends right up until middle school started. Since they were going to different schools,l the other boy decided to give him his favourite plushy to remember him by so he wouldn't get lonely.

The Red RiderSong to listen to while readingA red streak shot down the road. Abraham was for sure never going to return, that was the last straw and he knew he needed to leave. No more school, no more home. He clutched the handle bars on his motorcycle, his cloak whipping in the wind as he drove down the avenues and made his way out of town and to the great vast farm lands that surrounded his small close minded childhood home. His dark fur was parted by the cooling autumn wind, but he didn't feel any of this. He wiped the tears from his eyes, and barreled on down the road as the sun started to get lower in the sky, but none of that mattered. This road felt like it went on forever, the sunset muted and the moon could be seen, he felt his motorcycle jerk and started to chug and he urged it to keep going until it stopped. He checked the gas and found he had very little left, but still enough that his bike should have kept going. Abe shivered as the temperature dropped steadily for the night, and got off of his bike and started to push it by the handles, Hunter sitting comfortably in the side bags of his bike. He wished that he could just sit in the bag as well, but he knew that could never happen. Slowly he made his way to the small glow of an road side bar, and he kicked down the kick stand of the motorcycle and grabbed Hunter. He put his helmet in to the seat compartment of his bike, and pulled his hood over his head and clutched Hunter close. Ambraham pushed open the door to find some rather unnerving people inside. He navigated his way to seat near the back and a lady came over to ask what he wanted to order,
"How much would a burger and fries cost?" he asked slightly intimidated by the waitress.
"That would be eight fifty young lady,", the waitress replied unaware but it didn't phase Abe at all, as he had grown used to people mislabeling him. He nodded and agreed that he was going to order that, but then the waitress spoke again,
"arent you a bit young to be out this late?" she asked, clearly getting suspicious. Abe shook his head and tried not to panic,
"Naw my dad said it was ok for me to go and grab some food for my self, since he was going to be home late and I haven't been to this place before", he lied carefully as he tried for a pretty smile that had won over many others in past arguments. The lady shrugged and went on with her business, soon returning with not only a burger and fries but also a root beer for him. Abe looked up at her confused as she sat down.
"The pop is on me. I have seen kids like you before, whats got you so bothered kid?" she laughed as she leaned back in her chair. Abe started to pick at the fries and then let out a small sigh,
"Not much and everything all at the same time" he grumbled softly before biting in to his hamburger, wiped the ketchup off of his face.
"This is so tasty!"he exclaimed in a rather monotone and uneasy tone and the waitress just laughed humbly.
"Its not that good, and no changing the subject kiddo." she said giving him a warm but unsettling look and he just shrugged and quickly finished up the burger in a few bites. Hunter sat in his lap. Abe had his hood down, pooling around his neck like a security blanket. He did not want it to get dirty.
"The other kids at school, my family, my life. Its hard enough as it is being stuck like this, but the other kids have gone about calling me strange and weird for cutting my hair and telling them to call be Abraham. They have all known me since we were kids and never liked me before, but being like this has made it even worse." he said all in one breath before reaching for the root beer and sipping it, then smiling in bliss as its sweet creamy flavor washed over his mouth. The waitress leaned back and gave him a sympathetic look and then chose her words carefully.
"Sounds like you have a lot on your plate, I want to tell you that things get better but they wont. Unless, you make them get better" she said and Abe looked up quickly at her, thinking how amazing it was she wasn't like every other adult hes talked to about this.
"Unless I make it better?" he echoed mulling over this idea thoughtfully before speaking again,
"I tried, I decided running away is the best way to make it better but..." he faltered and sipped his drink and ate up the rest of his fries.
"...my Bike broke down, I built it up from scraps in secret so I should be able to fix it, but I haven't got much money so I cant pay for new parts or even more gas."he said in a disappointed tone and then glanced timidly at the waitress and she looked deep in thought and then broke in to a smile.
"How about this, we have a extra bed that you can crash in, and you can work here for a while. With the money you earn you can get your self back on your feet" she said standing up like it was decided and grabbed the plate and glass and headed over to the bar, setting them down and turned to smile at him once again.
"How about it Abraham, I can even teach you a few things to keep you on the road?", she said really looking forward to it and Abraham just looked down at his lap and at hunter who sat eternally happy, he brought hunter close to his face and squeezed him tightly before standing up. He pulled his hood over his head and walked up to the lady smiling softly,
"I do not want to stay too long, so I hope you can teach quickly!" he said with a rather cocky smile and felt his heart pounding in his chest, screaming out for him to leave and run far away but he tucked those feelings far down inside and accepted her offer.
