How you found this marra: I wanted to take care of one of the so called marras i'd heard of in the news that were almost about to go extinct and so I went to the center to adopt one to take care of. I eventually found one who had a broken wing as he was just captured and taken back to the center by some of the helpers at the center. Feeling pity for him I decided to adopt him, and call him Raven. I couldn't decide between Obsidian or Raven, and so I called him Raven due to the beautiful wings that he had. I took care of him until his wing had fully healed, and we've become great friends in fact, we love to play every single day despite his somewhat grumpy and lazy mood. When it's time to play he acts just like a playful puppy.

I stepped into the cave, my head pounding. "another headache..." I muttered, looking around the dreary den. The Marra by my side growled at the wind and shivered. I set down my backpack on the floor, wet from the humidity. Horrid weather. I came to the mountains on a hiking trip, hoping to see some mountain lions, but the wind started picking up, not wanting to get hurt, I decided to camp out in a cave. "Root... Is it safe here?" I asked. He chirped response, then slinked off deep into the cave. "Be careful!" there are mountain lions in these mountains... I thought. Then, i heard, ...purring? "Root?" Slightly concerned, but curious, I ventured back into the cave, after grabbing a flashlight from my backpack. I clicked it on, and shuffled through the cave, scanning the room for Root. Eventually, my eyes landed on Root, nuzzling another Marra? Soon they spotted me, Root running over and the mysterious new one perking his ears and padding towards me cautiously. Looking at him curiously, I slowly walked towards him. He padded up to me, and sniffed my hand. Then he let me pet his head gently, and started purring.
