Story: Ah, I remember the first time a young child came up and touched me. I was a young foal and I saw her from a distance. She had hair as golden as the sun and light blue eyes with a gorgeous smile. She seemed to be very young and a lot younger than the girls who rode at the stables. She came to the stable a lot but she never approached me. She always stared at me from a distance. One day, her mother left her and she was crying near the corral, so I walked over there to see her and to try to help her. As soon as I came near her, she stopped crying and stood up. She looked up at me and tried to grab at my mane. I leaned down far enough so she could touch me and her small hands touched my muzzle. She giggled and her smile returned to her face. She giggled a couple words and stayed with me until her mother came back. She came back to visit me everyday until she was old enough to ride. Then, she came to visit me twice a day and sometimes more to ride me. She would braid my mane all the time and would always treat me so good. She treated me better than any human had ever treated me. She was an artist and had painted my stall with flowers and sometimes would paint them on me. I would try my very best to stand still for her. Her smile and bright eyes always softened and warmed my heart. I love having her glowing personality around. After a while, I realized that no one else would ride me but her. No one else took care of me. It was all her. Her dedication and love for me was something special so in the arena, I always would try my best to please her. She was my forever owner. Eventually, we moved out of that ranch onto our own once she was old enough. There, I spent the rest of my days happily with her.
