"My name, is Roman Eindride", a tall creamy Kalon was sitting in the middle of a cracked stone floor playing chess by himself in a beam of sunlight, "and yes, I live here". He looked in the direction of the bird that had landed next to him, staring. "I know you're there because I can hear you. Your heartbeat, your breath. So small..." he leaned closer to it, "you've flown here from very far, haven't you? Must be spring already..." he was used to talking to himself like this since not many kalons came too often. Occasionally he would get the curious wanderer or adventurer, but they only stayed for a short time before moving on to their next quest. He wish he had someone who would stay with him here, even when he had those moments of wanting nothing but to be alone. Perhaps a pet would suffice for a friend?
He looked to the bird with a gaze that went past the feathered creature. "Would you like a look around? You can stay if you like. I don't have many friends as I live so far away. It would make me happy if you did," he started to walk around the crumbling pillars of his kingdom as the bird flew and perched itself on his shoulder, "I'll call you... Arwin".
