the makeup: He likes it because he can be whoever he wants to be, If he wants bright red lipstick one day then he can, if he wants to go bare faced the next then so be it. It also lets him experiment with new styles, and costumes.

why he likes makeup?:
to put it simply, marble is a bit of a hoarder. actually thats a bit of an understatement. marble collects anything and everything, from unique playing cards to paper clips in colors hes never seen before. he likes makeup especially because you can wear it, paint with it, collect it, or mesh it all together in one huge flourescent pile of blush and eyeshadow. he gets especially happy when he owns a whole set, all sorted by color, because then he can make his own colors! theyre mostly puke greens and browns, but every once in a while marble creates a vibrant purple, or blue. when hes nervous he rubs his paws around in a circular motion on the blush pads. he often has smears of eyeliner or lipstick on his snout, too.

The makeup: He likes his make up because he can do whatever he wants with it. He likes art but isn't very good at it so one day he decided to try out make up.
After that he simply loved it and decided to keep it up, after all that was/is his personal art. Make up let's him express himself with his appearance and make himself look even better than he already does.
It let's him experiment with what makes him feel more comfortable and the way that others see him. And a little bit of color never comes bad to anyone~
