Dralcons are a qilin-like species of canine where no two are exactly
alike. Dralcons have short front legs that are approximately half the
length of their hind legs, giving them a hunched posture when they
walk on all fours. Because of this they much prefer to walk about as
a bipedal species, balancing on their hind legs with or without the
aide of their tail.

~ This is a closed species! Do not make your own unless it is for an MYO event or you have a ticket to do so!
~ There is no adoption limit on Dralcons, go wild, just be fair!
~ No whining or complaining if you don't win a Dralcon. It just makes others feel bad.
~ No guilt-tripping artists or staff into giving you a Dralcon or a custom.
~ No mini-modding. It's impolite, and we have mods for that.
~ You must mark the main thread before adopting so you never miss out on the fun!
~ Rules are subject to change, whether by the addition of new rules or editing of an old one. Read them often to stay up to date.

~ Users may enter in all three parts of the event as they desire. Winners will be randomized(with exception to the art contest) so no bias will be in play.
~ You must follow the general species rules. This may not be the main thread but all rules there still apply.
~ Have fun! This event is all about building a community. Refer your friends and there might even be a prize! (Prizes will only be awarded if they say 'x-user has referred me'.)

Choose Your Own Palette!

The CYOP part of this event will be run at the link above. To enter, you will need to find a palette you like and list one mutation you would like your Dralcon to have, in addition to filling out the rest of the simple form. The rest is up to the artist of the Dralcon based on the information you have provided.

Mutations do not have to already be known, but if not listed or the appearance commonly known, a reference image is appreciated!

As part of the event, My Horse Rocks and I have decided to raffle of some MYO/Custom tickets!
Users may enter once a day, but only after I post on the thread announcing a new day.

Some days there may be prompts that can earn you an extra ticket, so be sure to copy the daily form.

From this raffle there will be 2-4 winners. These winners will receive a full MYO/Custom ticket to be redeemed whenever they wish on the custom thread.

Rolls will be done with this random number generator and screenshots will be taken for proof.

This part of the event is all about the mascots!

As species mascots and the first two domesticated Dralcons, Candle and Faun are considered the bridge between the human race and the other Dralcons. As such, they deserved to be honored with lots of art! They've even promised to give a gift to everyone who does so.

𝕬𝖗𝖙 𝕽𝖚𝖑𝖊𝖘

~ Do not claim the mascots or species as your own! This is considered art theft and will be taken very seriously.
~ Add a signature to the art you do so we can credit you and make sure it's not stolen.
~ Do not commission art! This contest is not about drawing ability but about the effort you put into it.
~ Try your best! As I said, this contest is about effort and honoring the mascots. All art is appreciated.
~ Art must be of Candle, Faun, or the both of them together. Please do not include anything irrelevant to them.
~ Art must be lined and colored at the very least. Shading and backgrounds are not a must but are appreciated.
~ Art must be posted here upon completion.

Every user who draws 1-2 pieces of art will get 1/3 of a MYO/Custom ticket. These tickets are typically earned with 6 Honorable Mentions in contests. Because of this, after you have drawn two pieces, every two you do will earn you another third of the ticket. Depending on how much art you do before the end of the event on February 16th, you have the potential to earn quite a few MYO/Custom tickets.
