Ｗｈａｔ ａｒｅ Ｌｕｃｉｖｉｌｌｅｓ?
I'm glad you asked! Lucivilles are creatures bred from the dog family. They were originally from
a genetically modified dog with peacock feathers and bioluminescent DNA. Since then, they have grown to be
a natural part of a Luciville. At other times, people will call them "Firefly Dogs". Lucivilles are omnivorous. This is from the dog's carnivorous diet and the peacock's herbivorous diet. They will eat fruit, chicken, corn, lettuce, and other goods. Lucivilles are found around the countryside areas, as they tend to be where fireflies usually reside. They are very dependant of their lights since they are afraid of the dark. It does vary how much they are afraid, though.

Personality: Usually easygoing, but will quickly become very aggressive when her family or friends are threatened. She's pretty social, but isn't excessively hyper.
Why they have the lantern: When Rory was young, her head feathers were dimmer than that of a usual Luciville. A natural explorer, she would sometimes stray from her family to investigate nature, but would often get lost. She was difficult to find in the night due to her unusual lack of a strong bioluminescence, and would worry those who cared about her. Once, when she had been missing for three days in a row, her family found her deep in a mountain cave, studying a strange, glowing, orange crystal that seemed to be growing out of a small puddle. Determined to prevent a similar situation from happening, her parents decided to take the unusually lightweight gem back home and put it inside a paper lantern, a family heirloom passed down for generations, from a celebration of when the first Lucivilles were successfully bred. This created a light that proved to be stronger than Rory's own, and so she kept it in order to stay safe. As time went on, her antennae gradually grew brighter and she eventually moved away from her family, but she keeps the lantern with her to this day as a reminder of those who she loves.

Why they have the lantern:One night Drago wanted to finally see the chinese new year bash!They did it every year but his old owner wouldnt let him go.One day Drago sneeked out.He was so excited he almost bumped into the dragon!He must have been so caught up he walked right into the parade!Everyone was staring at him!He acted like he was part of it by touching noses with the dragon and dancing around it.He was filled with so much courage,happiness,and pride!After the parade the dragon walked up to him.The dragon gave him a lantern to remember his memory at the parade.Every day Drago lights his lantern with his fiery breath.And with a flick of his tail he puts the light away for bed.One day Drago forgot to put out the light!His house burned.Lucky he escaped with his lantern and ran.He looked behind him and bumped into someone..His future owner.
