Well, it's a tiny little thing, really. But I got to enjoy the comfort of a lover's arms around me for the first time this Christmas. There was something very happy about celebrating Christmas with him - he has a hard time feeling accepted, by his family, by everyone. However, he was actually invited to participate in my family's festivities, and they added him to our family tree (where we even have couples' anniversaries) and, even though his family may have rejected him, my family welcomed him with open arms.

That made me really happy, and gave me hope, which is why I am naming this guy hope C:
