Their hobby -- Alexander is an avid book writer, when he was younger, he used to read
and study many stories, novels like Harry Potter, and Lord of the rings. He adored
the fantasy elements to these stories, and decided to take up novel writing. He
first wrote for a contest - and he won first place. He was then pushed to publish it
by a group of friends, and after a lot of process - he printed the book. With only
a few on the shelf at the time, he was surprised to find the book selling out. With
the newly accumulated money, he decided to start selling a few more books each
time.
Eventually he became known in the small city he lived in, and often hosted book
clubs, hoping to inspire other young writers like himself. He often signed people's
books there too, and once he'd held a few meetings, he'd move to another city,
and sell more books there, and then hold more meetings. He was very dependent
on his books - and decided to write more, he started to sell the books in a bundle,
and again, they were extremely successful.
He stopped moving once he reached the big city, but always seems to reflect on the days
when he was only a small known author. His books can still be found in the bookstores,
and he lives in quite a wealthy apartment on the outskirts of the city. He never
much enjoyed the business and crowds of huge cities that much. He's currently
in the process of writing an auto-biography, and hopes to continue to inspire
young writers to follow in his career path - as it's helped him both financially and
confidence wise. He would never go back to the days before he wrote.
Sometimes, either for free or a small sum of money (that goes to charity), he'll
go on the radio or create audio books. He often does a lot of interviews and
loves it! Before writing, he would've never considering doing this. Hobbies
really do boost his confidence, he has a lot of little nitty hobbies too, but it's
amazing what starts as a hobby, ends as a dream you thought was impossible.
Recently, he's decided to start travelling to small towns near the city he lives in - again -
because he wants to help out people who are less fortunate than him.
