Backstory wrote:This young pup was rescued from an abandoned house after a bad flood forced her humans to relocate. She was among many neglected animals that people had simply left behind despite the animal rescue groups that tried to help in the midst of the disaster. Being in part of the lower valley, her home was filled to the brim, leaving her wading through the dirty water in the attic for hours. Rescuers found her hanging out the window barking like crazy, and she immediately jumped out - right into their boat the moment they got close enough. As such she now has a severe fear of water and heights, and is overall fairly skittish with people. She always shies away from a hand despite her constantly wagging tail, showing just how hard shes trying to trust despite her crippling anxiety.
