Backstory wrote:This sweetheart evidently had a pretty rough life before she was found by a local nonprofit Labrador rescue. They paid for her many medical expenses, including the amputation of a severely infected toe on her back leg, before sending her off to us to find her the perfect forever home. Despite how loving she can be it does take a while to get her to come out of her shell, as her many years of neglect and or abuse seem to have left her with some neurological issues. Her nervous behavior makes it hard for her to connect with most people and especially other dogs, but we have high hopes that with the right human she can be rehabilitated into a loving family pet.
