What are Nile River Equids?

Nile River Equids (NREs) are a sub-breed of Mustangs who were discovered to be living in Africa. They tend to range anywhere from 12 hh to 16 hh, while there have been known to be slightly smaller or larger. These horses tend to be able to sustain themselves on a minimal amount of water and food, they can travel long distances and have extraordinary stamina. The people who discovered these animals found that they were extraordinarily friendly and the braided tails are a sign that the NRE is domesticated or belongs to another person.

I was first introduced to Gouldian Finches by one of my favorite Youtubers. She does little vlogs of her birds, which are used as breeding stock, and her pets. Gouldian Finches are going extinct due to the cutting down of their habitat. They're very beautiful birds, and come in many different colors. However the most common are usually greenbacks with a red or black head, the color of their chest determined by gender. (Purple for males, and a lighter mauve for females) However their are mutations which sometimes cause for blue, silver, and yellow colors.
Her original two birds are named Acai & Persimmon (This mare's namesake) and both are greenbacks with red heads. They did have a blue daughter, who was to breed with a silver but she got unexpectedly sick, which caused breeding to be postponed. She eventually died from unknown causes. (The community was never fully informed on her death and cause of it)

They've always been my favorite, ever since I was a young child, but recently more so because I got to witness their beauty in real life! They are such beautiful creatures, and I just love the little mo-hawk they have. <3
