Daetyns are large rabbit like animals with a bit of a cat like appearance as well. They have large wide eyes with cat-like pupils and one smaller eye underneath. They have two canine teeth that stick out of their mouth. Daetyns have long thick fur that starts on the back of their head and goes down to their chest making a big tuft of fur there. The rest of their fur is shorter. They have long floppy ears and two small horns on each side of their heads that grow longer as they age. The Daetyns have six legs the first two are feline like and the back legs are more like a rabbits. They have retractable claws on each paw. They have small tails.

This is a special Daetyn Adopt, its more like a contest because this Daetyn has 2 rare traits!
The winner will be the entry I find has the most effort put in!

Daetyns Backstory:
Phoenix was a very inquisitive Daetyn, always sniffing around old fox dens and the like, trying to sate his curiosity as a young kit and explore the world around him. It wasn't long before this got him into trouble, of course. Though most of the time, it was trouble that he or his mother could fend off or run away from. It wasn't until one day, right after a storm that had brought so much rain that the river flooded over, rushing and churning, that he got into trouble that he couldn't get out from.

As little Phoenix had never seen the river overflow like this, he jumped to a rock, pawing at the water curiously as it ran swiftly by him. A concerned chirp from his mother as she took notice of where he was startled him enough that he lost his footing and fell into the river with a terrified yelp. The current picked him up as if he were nothing, dragging him along effortlessly as though he was merely a twig in the water for the effort it took. The river pushed him under its surface, shoved him and tossed around, barely letting him come up for air as his paws flailed helplessly in an effort to try to grab any sort of purchase to help himself stay above water.

It wasn't til what felt like an eternity later but was only moments more of his frantic attempts of saving himself when a large hand lifted him by the scruff and wrapped him in something warm and safe.

A human, trying to survey the damage done form the storm on the wildlife, had seen his struggles and saved him, wrapping him in a towel. Seeing how young he was, she brought him home to make sure he was safe, and there she named him Phoenix, because even after such an ordeal, he was still going strong. The two grew attached to each other, and even when she tried to release him back to the wild, Phoenix stayed.

The human didn’t have the heart to force him to leave, knowing that as young as Phoenix was, he might not make it on his own. She’d like to say it was a difficult choice to keep him, to buy the prettiest collar for him with a tag in the shape of a bird that had his name etched in it. But it really wasn’t. Not with how Phoenix curled up on her lap so easily, so trusting of the one who saved him, named him, took him on walks.

She loved him. And Phoenix loved her right back. And he had to admit, there was much more to explore now, and it was much easier in a home than living in the wild.

Is there a possibly for extension if it reaches page two before the 15? I've just got exams pretty soon so I wouldn't be able to try out for this beauty...

I doubt it'll close before the 15th at this rate, but I'm really sorry, I can't really give anyone an extension, just so there aren't any problems in the future, I'm sorry.
