Catalena's name was a work in progress. Her mother and father both could not think of a name for her, they often sat at the dinner table for hours trying to find the perfect name for her. Names ranged from sterotypical "Emma" all the way to "Tansy" Finally after a good three to four days they decided that Catalena is the perfect name for her, though Alice was a close second for her name. Her parents were very proud of her name and still are today.
Catalena is now officially sixteen years old. When you are sixteen in Faymage you are assigned a person to be married to, once again if that marriage is denied you must leave the city and never return. Now Catalena 's sexuality is no real mystery ever since she was young she always wanted a prince charming to sweep her off her feet and marry her and she too would become royalty. She's still looking for her prince charming though. Everyone has little quirks right? Catalena has alot of them. She continuously looks up at the sky to see how bright and dark it is. Draws random doodles on any piece of paper in front of her and always carries a pen or pencil to facilitate this habit. Doesn’t eat green things. Takes stupid bets/dares for small amounts of money and Writes with left hand, but does everything else right-handed. These could all be considered normal by some people but she thinks it's awfully taboo and weird of her to do these things.
Catalena has lots of likes and dislikes, some would say she would be considered picky really, while she cannot deny that is she says that she has "Certain" tastes. For one she doesn't like anything touching her food. Like for example lets say she's eating bread and mashed potatoes, she doesn't want them making any contact, it grosses her out. I guess we can start with more dislikes because she has too many of them. She dislikes sitting around for too long, while it's true she is lazy she cannot handle laying around for hours. She needs to be up and doing something for at least a hour. Another thing Catalena dislikes is rodents, She hates squeaking and the little noises they make and just look at their beady eyes! Horrifying, whenever she sees one she runs out shrieking and doesn't come back inside until it's gone. We could go on and on about her dislikes but i'm only going to list a few more so this doesn't go one forever. Catalena also dislikes fakers, who act like someone that your not. She likes to bring out true people and make them see who they really are and not some bland faker who wants to be like everyone else, she just hates people like that. Finally her last dislike is like everyone else, Bugs. She HATES. I meant HATES bugs, i mean who doesn't though? Their eyes make everything worse. Catalena is many things, but one thing is for sure she's very quirky. That is one of her main traits, shes had this every since she was born. That's actually a reason why she didn't have a name for so long, because they wanted a fun and quirky name for her. While being quirky she's never been defined as weird, though she has been defined as odd though she obviously loves her main trait and often says "Embrace the Quirkiness!" and people often giver her weird looks but she just laughs it off and continuing her conversation she was having. Catalena's second trait is pretty simple which is to over think things when she is nervous, panicked or mad. When she is only a few minutes late she panics and thinks she's going to be late even though she makes it on time easily. She likes to over react what can she say? Not that she doesn't over react. She spends her time trying to stay calm and not to over react at little things but often loses control so she always takes an amulet with her and when shes nervous or over reacts she holds the amulet tightly. Another trait she has is confidence, now this may seem like the most normal thing for people to have but this is one of the main traits that Catalena is extremely confident. She looks in a mirror and smiles and struts out of the room with a smile knowing she looks good that day and no matter what people say she thinks she looks good, while being confident can turn into being vain and saying you look better than anyone but Catalena never really feels like shes prettier than anyone so shes never had to come across that certain problem. While she is all of the above she can be very VERY pushy. She almost always gets her way when she is pushy and often sweet talks her way into getting anything she wanted. People say it can get very annoyed when she gets pushy and often tell her to leave them alone but that lasts to a little to no time at all. She often gives them her famous "puppy dog eyes" and they melt like butter. It's easy to get what she wants and almost gets cocky when she does get her way, though she tries not to. Now onto the bad traits, Catalena is very and i mean VERY bossy, she likes to take charge and often does anything to make sure she is the boss. At times it seems she takes it way too far. But she often is the one to apologize after too many times, It also gets rather annoying and takes it too far once again. Though she is busy it honestly comes in handy at some points when people are slacking and don't know how to handle themselves in certain situations so she takes charge but gets a little but too in charge. Finally she is quick tempered she often gets so annoyed she starts yelling, she loses her temper quite easily and often walks off when she is mad or too annoyed to deal with something or someone so she then struts off with a huff, glaring and talks under her breath as she crossly walks away.

Mycroft didn't marry Catalena for many reasons, probably the number one reason was because he honestly didn't like her and thought he could do way better even though she is pretty and everything other girls aspires to be. When he found out that she was who he was to be married to he gave her the ugliest look leading her to tears, only to hear the meanest words she could ever hear "Why would I want to marry THAT. " She was so taken aback she started crying slightly stumbling backwards, she looked at the man who arranged all this for some sort of sympathy but couldn't find a single speck out his cold harsh eyes. Mycroft was defiantly they best choice out of the other husbands people got, even good to look at, He cared for his hygiene unlike others.... ahem. When she saw him the last time before she left her screwed up city she said only 5 words "I hope you regret this." and just like that she left not looking back once. Mycroft never did regret it and with his new wife he sits atop a hill with loads if money and the exact girl he wanted.

Now Catalena's city isn't like any other city known. Her city is called Faymage, It's based among arranged marriages, men have the choice to accept the marriages, if the marriage is declined then you are exiled from the city. Most people who do get married often do fall in love with each other while some don't and act like friends more than a married couple. Those who run away from marriage are forced to work in the fields for years on end until they accept their marriage and living with the said groom. Faymage has many rituals and gatherings over the weeks, every Friday all residents must show up for meeting that are announced by the owner of this "Perfect" town, All must follow the seven rules he has listed to stay in the town. Rule number one is to never disobey direct orders from "Him".Rules number two, Never speak out of turn. Rule number three, Every day at 8:00 am you must repeat the oath you recited when you first joined. Rule number four is to be present every day at 5:00 PM at town square. Rule number five is to not rebel. Rule number six, You must stick to the colors of the city for your wardrobe. Rule seven, Never talk rash about "Him".

Where to start, there are plenty of friends and family members we can start with, but i guess we're gonna start with her mate, Sensuikan Marine.When she left her city she met him a couple months in her exile. She had just met a few more people during her travels and she was stumbling around in the woods, lost, sick and hungry. She honestly thought that was the end but just as she fell and fainted her eyes were slowing closing and she saw him. A stranger wearing a cloak covering his face and a large sword on him. She couldn't really register anything more but she woke up in a daze only to jump at the unknown surroundings, Sensuikan was very secretive but joined her on Catalena's journey saying something along the lines of "I need to keep you safe, I'd be worried about you." only packing his most needed items from his small house in the woods far from the nearest town. They traveled for a while after that, he generally started to trust her more. He takes off his hood around her now only trusting her with his "true" identity and when someone tries to mess with his hood trying to see his face he immediately gets defensive, He is a extremely sweet guy and would do anything for her in a heart beat, Later on in their life time they eventually got even closer and became something special, finally getting married and even having kids. He loves his family dearly but he care the most about his dear Catalena and nothing has changed for the several years they have been together.
'Starfish' Satsuki Sansi Hoosier, where to start with this bubbly guy, Catalena met him in one of the towns she was passing through "Mayflower" was it? She'd forgotten maybe she would ask him when she was down with lecturing her children. But oh yes, where was I? Right! She found him playing his ukulele and calling himself the best bard that there was. She wouldn't lie. He defiantly was, he could play to any song no matter how in depth it was and how challenging it was to read and dance to. He could learn it in a snap of a finger. But then there was his dad who joined them, Simon hoosier. A true guy but we can talk about him later. Anyways Starfish joined her and Sensuikan on her journey to find a new place to live or even possibly make their own city. Starfish was there from the moment she saw the two shuffling about trying to get away from the large crowds. He approached them and INSISITED he went along with them. Now it's been around fifteen years and extremely close together.
Now we go Simon, good ol' Simon. He was actually weird in Catalena's opinion. He dressed real dapper and spoke of these "Memes" he creates and wants to share with the world. He apparently was "Shoved on a ship" and yeah. He ended up in some dead end city with his son, he was always craving adventure with him and his son it's always been them, going around the world seeing citys, towns and kingdoms in the work. Simon and Catalena aren't as close as Simon and Sensuikan are, they could be considered family almost, after all Sensuikan did insist that Simon was part of the family and it's been like that for a while. Catalena and Simon often go on secret adventures to get supplied and things needed for their villiage, Simon is someone who you'll honestly never forget about. Or so Catalena says.
Next would be her father Mukesh, ever since a child she knew that she had to be the one to step up to help, since her fathers blindness was also a factor that needed to be addressed, Her mother Arida did alot of work around the house but Mukesh sure as heck didn't let his blindness stop him, he cared for the entire family as well, sometimes it looked like he wasn't even blind, Catalena always remembers the day her marriage didn't work out and her father was about to storm in there like he owned the place to make the fool marry his daughter so she could stay in the city. But when he knew that wouldn't work he knew exactly what to do and had saved lots of money for a while just in case something were to happen, he misses his daughter and hopes to see her soon as Mukesh hasn't seen her in so long. Catalena is thinking of a way to find her parents again and will do anything to get her family out of that dreadful city.
Arida was always there for Catalena , ever since day one she favored her and always tried to help her with any problems she had to deal with. When she found out that the groom didn't take Catalena she was so upset she barley talked to anyone after she left. She wished every night she could have her daughter back and promised her family she would get them out of their living hell. Ever since the day Catalena left she's been plotting for a way to get her and her family out of there and how to get over to where Catalena is living. She hasn't been very successful yet but she is actually still trying.
Disney has always been there for his sister but he often didn't like her, she always acted like he didn't know what to do or what was going on but he knew exactly what goes on. When Catalena was exiled he knew exactly what to do, Take over her spot and accept the woman who comes into his life, the only problem is, he was bisexual and leaned towards males so it would be a challenge for him, now he is married to another girl with black hair and green eyes and pale skin who likes to drag him to the park. He can certainly say he wants to leave the city, but of course who doesn't want to leave, Catalena and him were actually very close and nothing really has changed that. Though he does wish he could have spent a few more years with her.
Izidora and Catalena were the closest kids, they always snuck out the house and did who knows what as kids, while Catalena is only two to three years older then she is she felt the same age of Izdora, Catalena and her were extremely close and have always been for the 16 years of her live the two got to share, Izidora was actually oblivious to the fact of what really happened with Catalena and assumed she was coming back home, But then she got older she finally found out what really happened and sat there for a few days stoned face but that was quickly changed. Catalena probably misses her the most out of her entire family. She was the closest to Izidora than anyone in the entire family.
Kahea was super close to her mother when she was just a few years old, always super clingly scared of the world. When she got older and older she became independent and often came off as the "Weird" one in the family. But her family loves her to death and Catalena would do anything for her, she supports her though everything she does and always comes off as too "Loving" or so Kahea says but Catalena doesn't think so, Kahea was born in a safe village surrounded by guards who care for their people and not a town who forces it's residents to marry a random male or female in the town. Kahea often plays the rebellion act but is a bubbly and happy person generally. She and Catalena are as close as a mother and daughter could possibly be.
Edel and Catalena had met shortly in the woods. As she was in pursuit for stealing in the town she was last seen in she stumbled into the haunted forest. He seemed defensive and cold when she first saw him then she looked into his sparkling eyes where she could see the true him and see he was a person with actual feelings and now the hushed tones she saw the knights in the background were having when his back was turned. Catalena would say they are slight friends but nothing more because they only saw each other for half a day and haven't interacted in a while. She does look out from large balconies and looking at the endless forest that was his.
Mackenzie Meredith Marine is her eldest child, the one she could tell almost anything to. Mackenzie was always helping around the house working to become the best he could be. Being the perfect child wasn't enough for him, he and his father often left the house for hours on end to improve Mackenzie's hunting skills. When he was little he was identified as a female but never felt like he was a girl so one day he announced that he was a male. His family was extremely supportive and always helped him thought all the struggles and was there to smile with him through happiness.
The one and only Mycroft, The almighty, The one who said no to Catalena, The sole reason she is not with her family. Now Catalena really did like him and maybe even loved him. But little did he know he was the most arrogant guy she would ever meet. Now thinking about it she dislikes him very much and whenever she thinks of him she has to hold a wince. She thinks it's his fault for kicking her out because the way he worded it was the rudest remark she would probably ever receive. Catalena thinks it's good she didn't actually have been forced with Mycroft because they honestly had nothing in common and never talked before besides the point of marriage.
Lorg Mia is Catalena's other daughter out of her children of three. Lorg was considered the "Normal" kid of the family. When she was a child she often was the one who was mumbling under her breath on how to do better in school or how to help the family basically a sweet nice kid. As she got older she and Catalena often baked lots of food for the villagers in the town. They were nicknamed "The Baking Sissies" But that quickly fell apart on the whole money account. Catalena and Mia are very close and even though she is moved it she visits every sunday. Mia can be very iffy with her parents but she usually is a kind sweet kid.
Kioki and Catalena weren't as close as he and Sensuikan are. She and Kioki sometimes have little conversations but they never really connected. While Catalena could say that he is a good kid and they know each other pretty well. Kioki thinks Catalena is a sweet nice "Old" lady. But then again he is Simon's kid and tries to be just like his father He often rambles of memes and how he should just go and look around the world and leave the small town he was raised in. But every time he considers it he laughs awkwardly and goes on with his usual schedule. Catalena can say for sure he is a weird one.
Cookie is Catalena's personal favorite out of most kids she's met besides her children. Cookie is sweet, funny and easy to get along with. While he may be stubborn and quick-witted but he can be very sneaky and often seen sneaking out if the house late at night to sit at the large tree house at the end of the ocean. Cookie thinks that Carolina is a pretty cool and chill person and often goes to her for his little "Girl problems" he has on a regular.

"W-what?" she managed to gasp out in shock, her knees shook slightly as she received the terrible news. The announcer looked at her with no sympathy in his eyes, "I said that he has declined your marriage and that you're being exiled for this, We've told you multiple times already. If the arranged spouse declines then it means your leaving this city forever." Catalena closed her eyes and shook her head "N-no! this can't be happening!" She screamed in her head, She had worked so hard to stay in her city and it was being taken from her because of a snobby man who didn't want to marry her but a blonde with deep sea blue eyes and perfect porcelain skin. Catalena nodded and whispered out "i'll pack my things..." as she heading outside she held in the tears not wanting to cry in front of her parents, they had believed in her, thought so fondly that she would be chosen. Catalena's parents eagerly awaited her standing by the door with a gleam of hope littered in their eyes. Catalena then let out the harsh words that then became a full reality "H-he declined...I'm forced to exile.." Her father Mukesh then looked livid and very clearly upset "He...HE WHAT?" Mukesh was about to storm off into the large birch doors but a hand stopped him from stepping any closer to the door, looking at him was Arida, her mom "M-Mukesh...We can't just storm in there. They will slaughter us all...You remember what happened with the other families who stood up to them?" Mukesh shuddered at the memory and nodded and turned to Catalena with a serious expression he then spoke quickly and urgently "Catalena listen, we have a emergency plan for this, we saved a good amount of money for you to scrape by at other small towns, we need to go quickly do they do not suspect we are helping you as you know we aren't supposed to." She nodded and the three set off to their house where the rest of her family was waiting. When they arrived at home there were greeted by Catalena's siblings Disney and Esther. She forced a smile on and she greeted them "Hey guys! Things didn't go as planned so i have to go away for a while.." Disney immediately caught on as he was a year younger than her. Disney just sat there with a stone expression and hugged Catalena and stood back. Esther not fully aware and decided to ask questions. Esther spoke up "Can I come?!?" Before she could answer she then asked "Where are you going?? And when are you coming back?!" Catalena thought for a second before saying "i'm going away from the city for a few months, maybe a year i'm not sure." She squirmed feeling terrible for lying only to continue " No Ester...You cannot come.." She looked to Disney who just stood there and then said "Good luck sis...I'll come for you soon..." She then nodded understanding what he meant and then went down to Ester's height and hugged Esther before heading to Disney and hugged him with tears in her eyes. "Listen to me. Do not decline your marriage. You cannot be exiled. Do you hear me?" he nodded with a small shocked expression before whispering "okay...but I will get you back in town if it's the last thing I will do sis..." Smiling with a small hopeful look she stood up taller and heading for her room to get her backpack and suitcase, she needed to take everything with her. When she did pack up she headed to the kitchen to pack a small lunch and dinner to bring with her for the day so she wouldn't at least be hungry. Her parents watched from afar with a remorseful look in their eyes when she finished they stood up and her mother then said "If you have what you need follow us.." Nodding Catalena followed them with a small frown as they pulled out the small stack of money they have been saving. Mukesh then uttered out "In a few months we will sneak out and look for you okay?" she nodded with a intent look in her eyes as she hugged them goodbye and sighed out reaching for the door. Taking the short walk to the end of the town she looked out at the long wilted forest and uttered out "here we go..bye guys...I'll miss you."
