Seraphin is rather confident sheer with a laid back attitude, often cracking snarky remarks whenever the opportunity presents itself. He enjoys making others laugh and will do reckless things just earn a laugh or impress someone whenever possible. However, he comes across as arrogant due to his nonchalant behavior to whatever he may be doing at the time. Defending against nightmares? Pfft, no problem! Doing silly but dangerous aerial stunts? Nothing to worry about! Those are the sorta ideals that he often has floating around in his head that get him into trouble. It is also because of this attitude that Seraphin can be insensitive and oblivious to how harsh his words can be sometimes. He doesn't go out of his way to be harsh and blunt but it tends to happen anyways. But after someone or some sheer knocks some sense into him, Seraphin will do whatever means necessary to apologize for his behavior.
His relationship with his protected, Lawrence, is a very close one in which he often finds himself offering advice on how to be more confident or make new friends. He wishes that Laws would be less modest when people praise his ability to write or just compliment him in general, not understanding why someone would downplay their strengths. But he and Laws are slowly but surely learning from each and improving what the other lacks.
