Reason: bear was originally owned by an adult who treat him very horribly, he would be left out with no food or water, in a field full of brambles he would be made to work from dawn till dusk every day doing heavy pulling which strained his back. So he struggles when adults ride him but because children are often lighter they are better and they love him more than most adults.

Name: Big Friendly Giant "Roald"
Reason: Roald is not fond of adults because many of them cower and shy away from him due to his towering height. The adults just see him as a hulking beast instead of the gentle giant that he is. Roald loves to be around children because they are not afraid of his height and their imaginations fascinate him. One day he could be there mighty stallion and the next he could be the dragon that was defending the castle. If the adults could look past his towering height they would see that he has a heart of gold and could not hurt a fly.

Reason: Most adults loose their creativity and their love of life and adventure, thus they become boring. Children see him as a guardian, as a knight, a king, a bear, a best friend - their creativity and love is never ending while adults seem to brush him off as a 'big dumb horse'

Name: On The Winds || Sail
Reason: It isn't that he doesn't like adults, not really; Sail just finds the taller, more prone to becoming frustrated adults intimidating; the children he has worked with scream gleefully when he noses them, takes treats from their tiny hands carefully, they dote on him kindly and expect nothing in return but to feel his soft coat and warm breath. The older ones put him to work, become frustrated with him after a time if he doesn't understand and that in turn makes Sail just a bit more skittish with each session.

Reason: Despite being a giant, a gentle one at that, Patch is more intimidated by adults as they are bigger than children. Anyone who'd see him would assume a horse of his size would be bomb-proof, or pretty close to it at least. As reality would have it, Patch is very skittish around adults. Much like how a kitten may be more afraid of adults than children due to just how much more they tower over them, Patch is the same way. People may find it silly how a giant like Patch is untrusting of adults when he would more likely be to accidently hurt them than they would him. Despite everything, Patch works well as a kid-friendly horse and doesn't mind having a less experienced rider in his saddle.

Reason: He finds that adults have too much on their mind, they are too serious and down to earth. He does not like those who only focus on work and issues, and finds adults do too much of that. He prefers the carefree attitude of children and how they dream of things adults do not. He loves to grant the wishes and dreams of children, to see them smile and laugh as they face him, ride in a wagon or sleigh behind him or even ride on his back. He enjoys it when the children see the "Great Steed" that would carry the princess or the knight, the horse he believes he is.

Reason: Previously on a riding school, Eta was deemed to be too tall for children to ride so mostly he was doomed to carry around adults. Adults being a lot stronger than children, kicked him harder than he liked and pulled on his mouth a lot. Eventually, he'd had enough and became spooky around adults.

Reason: His beautiful chocolate coloured coat reminds me of the Ivory coast, the place where the most chocolate is made.

Name: Bigger Than My Body // Bones
Reason: Truthfully, he just has never liked adults as much as kids. When he was a foal, he was given to a child to raise him, and he just hasn't had much contact with adults that would make him fond of them. Being as he's never felt the need to approach an adult, when they approach him he reacts more out of disdain than anger. You could say it's just a lack of trust, but it's also that Bones doesn't find adults to be comforting or likable in the least.
