Name: Heiðrún [pronounced High-th rune] || Mythological Abnormality
Gender: Stallion
Eye Color: Grey Day Blue
Coat Color: Dapple Grey [Smoky Black Base] Minimal Frame Overo
Character Development: Heiðrún, much like his Norse namesake (Who is, strangely, a female goat), is a generous horse, or as generous as horses can be. He's quite calm in demeanor, though he can get snappy from time to time. As do both people and horses, er... ponies, alike. He's the type to stop grazing and move over even if another horse he doesn't particularly like wants to graze there, rather than standing there and graze, not allowing them to get close an biting or kicking at them when they do. As a colt when he was first introduced into the BWS, he kicked and bit and reared at anyone he could come near, often just sulking around his stall, pacing and whinnying, obviously annoyed. Eventually, the stable owners decided to try getting him used to at least some of the horses, and stalled him with
Dakota, a kind, albeit fiery, mare. As the owners had hoped, the stern and comically angry colt eventually warmed up to the mare. As Heiðrún grew older, he became more attached to the mare and grew calmer around other horses. Eventually, the owners decided to split them into separate stalls to prevent any "unexpected foals" and, as can be expected, this didn't sit well with the colt. Furious, he kicked at the iron reinforced wooden walls of his stable, once again becoming the pissy little colt he was two years ago. But, with time, he became kinder. To both the people and other horses. To the humans, his old personality was given a simple good riddance before they quickly welcomed his calmer self. Of course, he's best when around the mare that he grew up with,
Dakota, but he now didn't need to be around her all the time, and learned that it was just easier to scoot aside and let others do as they wish of their own free will. Though he knows when to stand his ground.
