do they like to cook?: to say pequin enjoys to cook would be an understatment, the art was practically bred into her lineage. no matter the gender or preformance level of the individual, each relative of pequin is known to cook regularly. the young are even introduced to the act at a considerably early age to prepare them for a lifetime of varying get togethers in which bringing a dish is required. cooking plays such a large part in her life that - after displaying quite a firey character - pequin was named after a rather spicy chile. she spends much of her free time hurrying about her kitchen mimicking recipes she was taught during her youth or simply free-handing a dish. but, there is a factor that sets her apart from the entirety of her family. quin can't cook. despite the hours she wastes slaving over a stove, she just cannot manage to create a suitable dish. there is always some problem that arises, such as; completely forgetting to add in any of the required liquids, spontaneous fires sparking, overfilling a containor to the point whatever is within completely engulfs it while in the oven, and - most famously - a terribly scorched exterior while the middle remains raw at best. there is also the unavoidable issue of the clumsy bird causing harm to herself even when under the safest of circumstances. despite all of these negatives, cooking remains one of quin's most beloved passions, she even believes she has been improving since joining a public cooking class.

I took a moment to read over the entries and I finally decided the winner. This duck now belongs to ɴᴏᴠᴀᴋ! Now from looking at the entries I decided to offer a runner-up to tiny little box!
