He hates the sight of incomplete or broken things, and will wish them out of his sight. Just the merest chip on a teacup almost causes him to faint! While it could be OCD that causes these over-reactions, Crescendo is truly afraid of being imperfect. The act that he was involved in included the clowns falling off their mounts and doing other silly things that weren't exactly safe. Tithonus was very skittish and even when the clowns would walk past his stall he would freak out and it would take several (non clown) stable hands to calm him. He only performed in the act one time and that ended in a clown being injured, he was then sold and never has he been able to see another clown without freaking out and being nearly inconsolable. There is no real rational reason for his fear, he just has never liked clowns.
