Bullet Dragon Name: Vyltalia Inkaen Presdove
Gender: Female
Headpiece Explanation: The headpiece was a gift from her mother. It's been in her family for many, many generations. It is restored every generation so that it can keep being handed down. It has a lot of meaning to her and her family, everything has a special meaning. The wings represent the speed of Bullet Dragons. The gold represents the exploring nature of the Presdove family, and the many treasures they came across. The red jewels represent the beauty that each family member has. The red eye marking represents strength and also rightful reasoning. The headpiece is called Fayanel, which is the name of the oldest known member of the family. She's been resting for 550 years. Her full name was actually Avitala Pakrana Fayanel Presdove, but everyone knew and knows her as Fayanel.
This very headpiece has been through many adventures. Vy's great-great-grandmother was actually a professional explorer. She nearly lost her life many times while out and about. She realized that if she didn't settle down she would never have anyone to hand the head piece down to, so therefore her great-grandaunt and great-grandfather were born. They went by the names of Sararissa Omara Presdove and Willadar Holakas Presdove. Their adventure was much different than that of their mother.
The twins decided that exploring wasn't exactly what they wanted to do. Instead, much to their mother's dismay, they both became Herbalists. They claimed that they were exploring in the world of herbs, but it still didn't please their mother. She ended up leaving, only leaving behind the headpiece. The two twins were extremely sad that she just got up and left, but they pushed on. Further on in their lives, Willadar ended up having three kids, two boys and a girl. The girl, who is of course Vy's lovely mother, was given the headpiece from her aunt. Her one brother, Donseith Osthorn Daerie Presdove, followed his father's footsteps becoming a herbalist. He doesn't have any kids. Her other brother, Colarat Jozorwyn Presdove, became an explorer like his grandma. He's wherabouts are currently unknown to the family, he is known to go for long periods without speaking to any family member. And then there's Vy's mother, Imalya Gilnelis Presdove, who chose to spend her life updating the family archives, making sure that their name is known. She also writes, but that's more of a hobby.
And finally, when Vy was born, she was born without siblings or cousins (to her knowledge), and she struggled to figure out what she wanted to do. every day she would look at the headpiece, hoping it would magically give her an answer. One day, while she sat in her room staring at it, she realized how much she enjoyed jewelry. She decided to pursue being a jewelry maker, and it's because of the headpiece.
The headpiece completely altered how this family lived and will live on.
Something else I thought I should add, is that the headpiece was actually a gift to Miss Fayanel. She was a servant in a kingdom, but after their kingdom was attacked and soon forgotten in time, the Princess, Miss Gifmia Falamin Waesbella, gave this headpiece to Fayanel as a sort of parting gift, as the royal family told her to go build a family while they rebuilt the kingdom. The kingdom actually does still stand, but the only dragons who actually know of it are the Presdove family and everyone who currently resides there. It is not on any maps and it is in a place less travelled. Colarat has actually visited there several times, always returning with gifts from the royal family. Vy actually has a necklace that was given to her mother by the royal family, as a congratulations for continuing her family lineage.
The necklace, which goes very well with the headpiece, it made very similarly. It has a tiny ruby, outlined with the gold. There's two tiny wing charms that are locked in about 2 inches higher than the ruby. Vy normally wears them together, and she usually gets comments about how gourgeous they are.
