Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.
Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Personality;
Carlisle is a a reserved person to say the least, tending to have a hard time opening up to people, let alone trust them. He has a tendency to be rude and blunt, saying whatever comes to mind without thinking it over first with no concern on whose feelings he may hurt. Skilled and dedicated, he takes his work seriously and trains practically 24-7. Only close friends have a chance of pulling him away from hours of training, as his free time is precious to him. He has found art as an enjoyable hobby, finding a way to be creative and focus on only lines and shapes. It helps him wind down after a hard day. To those who don't know him well he is a grumpy, rude kalon who dislikes being around people. But to those who have gained his trust and earned his loyalty, he is a friend who has your back no matter what.
Basic history;
He was the first born in a poor family, his parents tried their best to provide for him but they soon found they could no longer care for him. Thus they decided it would be best for him if they gave him to someone who could care for him. He ended up going to a sort of school/orphanage thing where they not only gave him a good education but trained him in combat, anything from swords to martial arts.. When he became an adult he was hired by a king/noblemen to protect his daughter, who he later fell in love with
