genderas a doll, Jon is agender, hw is void of gender, however, he's perfectly fine with he/him pronouns. Prior to his life as a doll Jon was a cis male, and that's why he's most comfortable with his current pronouns!

This age is one that seems to bother Jon for various reasons, but for whatever reason, he won't talk about why such representation is an issue
personalityJon is the type to be very reliant on others in almost every situation. Growing up as a younger sibling, he became accustomed to looking up to someone. Because of this, Jon has developed a dependency on others whether it be his own family or his friends. As a child Johan would be reluctant to do anything without first watching his older brother's actions to copy said actions exactly. It's hard for the young man to act on his own. Esther, his shadow, tends to help him now that he's a doll, but it's rare that Jon ever takes the lead. However, Esther is encouraging her doll to further his actions as an independent being.
More often than not Jon is deemed the "mom friend". Jon is the type to dote on anyone and everyone. His older brother Wolfgang was a rather reckless human, and since Jon essentially worshiped Wolfgang, Jon adapted to be the nurse on the run. Not that the young man particularly minds, Jon finds a certain satisfaction with helping and mending others. But, it's almost humorous, only 21, but he's the one carrying around a backpack filled with medication, bandages, and spare clothing. Suffice to say, Johan is particularly doting on those he loves dearly!
Jon is a joyful kind of character. Taking largely after his sibling, Jon tends to be a rather easy going being. Rolling with the flow is kind of his specialty. Being a laid back kind of character that he is, Jon tends to be a good friend and others teed to gravitate towards him. This fact is something that is relatively shocking to the sweet boy, he doesn't completely comprehend why others tend to enjoy him so much.
Despite all his positive reinforcements, Jon tends to doubt himself a lot. Living in his brother's shadow and trying desperately to live up to such a large image, Jon feels as though he is less than what he could be, and often he is rather disappointed in himself. It's hard to deal with living as a doll when it was already difficult to live as a human. Though he is particularly self conscious, Jon receives a large amount of support from his shadow Esther

personalityEsther is by far one of the most spoiled weenie dogs on this earth. Jon being the doting owner that he is, he often spoils the little dog. Esther is the type of shadow that really likes things her way, like most brats. A prime example of Esther's need for the best, said weenie refuses to eat anything other than hot dogs. Of course that's no problem for Esther, that's why she keeps Jon around.
Esther despite being a bit of a brat is very supportive as well. She tends to feed off of Jon's emotions and she wants him to be happy, always. This weenie dog is particularly loyal, despite her hard headedness, she'd do anything for Jon, primarily because of the affection he shows her. However, Esther pitties the fact that Jon is no longer human and wishes he could return to his life - even if that means she would no longer exist.

historyJon's history and Esther's are intertwined
In his past life, Jon was a second generation German born immigrant, moving into America around the age of two and his older brother Wolfgang, being six. Growing up in the American suburbs makes for a childhood of adventure and imagination. During his youth, Jon constantly looked up to Wolfgang, almost to an extreme.
The Muller family owned a small German restaurant, and to get more publicity, the Muller brothers were to man the hot dog stand a few blocks over. The two jokester brothers of course loved the goofy "weiner" aprons and their parents really took the cake by adding the "weenie jr" and "weenie sr" hats . Making as many jokes as humanly possibly the brothers thought their situation particularly odd. Being 100% German.... with a hotdog stand? It's almost satirical!
Of course the brothers were horrendously careless in their actions Wolfgang more so than Johan, and one one especially unlucky day, Wolfgang began his walk home, beckoning Jon to follow him quickly. Jogging after his sibling, Jon realized his brother had found himself in a predicament, a speeding truck coming towards him, and without question, Jon sprinted to his sibling's aid.
the next thing Jon knew, there was a small dog licking his face. Taking a glance at his new alarm clock, he smiled fondly at his newest companion. A pang of bitterness befell him as he noticed the "Weenie sr" hat on the dachshund's head "Come on!!" she piped tail wagging rapidly, begging the young man to come forward. With no other plans, He followed as she continued to speak "I'm Esther, I'm your shadow, and you're my doll, and .. . . . "
I am so sorry I couldn't resist making this XDD I spent wayyy too much time on it XD now I should make some actual art like a normal person X'DDD
