Kit Information wrote:Shade Wings live deep in the forest and have a three stage aging system. They are a kit for two days, a teen for three days, and an adult for at least a month. Kits are probably born with black eyes since their auras are black. When two Shade Wings breed in the wild, there are usually ten kits. Luckily, kits can't die, so full litters live. This means that there are a lot of kits that grow up and are spayed/neutered immediately. This is to prevent overpopulation. This comes into play when breeding in captivity for one reason: You cannot release these Shade Wing kits. If you do not want a kit, you have to give it to the pound. Kits in the pound stay there until they are adopted or fully grown for a month.
When bred in captivity there are two to seven kits in litters. You can breed with another person's Shade Wing if both of you agree on it. When this happens, there are always an even number of kits. The owners of both parent Shade Wings get half the kits. When breeding, your litter will get a cover saying the Shade Wing's names and the owner's name/names. This is so you can easily track your kits. If breeding with another person's Shade Wing, when you decide on the kits you each are taking the owner's name will be put on the kit's page. This is able to be removed if you dislike it.
Shade Wings can breed often compared to some other species. Shade wings can breed every two days, but they cannot breed with the same Shade Wing as before for five days. Here's an example: Shade Wing 1 and Shade Wing 2 have kits. Shade Wing 2 and Shade Wing 3 can have kits in two days. Shade Wing 1 and Shade Wing 2 can have kits again in four days. Although Shade Wings mate for life, they are very fluid when it comes to having kits. This means they don't mind having kits with Shade Wings that aren't their mates. Shade Wings may not find their mate until breeding a few times, but you'll be notified when they do. Shade Wings will usually have larger litters with their mates then other Shade Wings, meaning if mates have kits there will be one more kit than normal. This, unlike potions, can not exceed the maximum kit number.
Sorry about the long info paragraphs guys! Breeding cost the same as customs, either two uncommons, four commons, eight very commons, or 2C$.
Artists: If you want to breed your Shade wings and design the kits, then you can just send payment to a random artist. To figure out the kit number, go to random.org and use min 2 max 7. For genders, use min 1 max 2. 1 = female, 2 = male.
If two users are breeding together, both have to fill out the form.
If you breed Shade Wings you own, you can put unwanted kits up for adoption. They are shown in the pound.
