Alignak is a rather interesting character, she keeps many aquariums and has a fascination with the ocean and what it could possibly be hiding. She is a a deep sea researcher and has set up a base at the bottom of Challenger Deep. Ali has an attraction to dangerous and adrenaline-rush causing situations like her biological mother, but usually doesn't participate since her current work has her at the very bottom of the ocean. Alignak is a recluse, though there are a few other scientists on board the base. She mainly keeps to her quarters and observation room. The fluffy vaiki will occasionally return to the surface to see her parents and siblings.
