Back Story of this Juymara:

[ this story will be from his point of view. ]

uniqq's bright crimson eyes slowly peeled open. he sat up with a low huff, red orbs narrowing instantly due to the bright orange sun looming far above him. he let loose a small sigh as he pressed himself upwards, in order to get ready for the day, and made his way out of his "lair," as so you could say. in his small "pride," deep in the forest of yamanashi prefecture, there were a few other select juymaras. one, his mate. his mate had stuck with him through thick and thin, and he loved her dearly. he would sacrifice himself for her, in any way shape or form- even if it meant death. their love was only of compassion and passion mixed together, a fiery mixture of perfectness. two others, his parents. with them he had grown up to be a handsome, caring, and protective juymara, and he poured his heart and soul into them. again, he would give himself up in order for their well-being, and he kept it that way, no matter how much they yelled at him, got angry, or anything- his love went on. the last one, his younger sister. uniqq had always been extremely protective of her, but ever since the "incident" happened, he protected her with his life. he had always been there for her, and always will.

uniqq padded towards his sister, inishu, and greeted her with a small lick to her ear. she glared up at him indignantly, tossing her head from side to side as to clear off his tongue. "hey, watch it!" she snapped, glaring ceaselessly up at her older brother. with a chuckle, and a swish of his tail, he ruffled the top of her head with his overly-large paw. "i love you too, inishu," he grinned, licking her cheek. all her response was to shake her head again, pawing at her face where he had licked her. and with that, uniqq was off- again. he nodded to his parents as he passed, offering a small smile to them. before he exited the camp, his eyes landed on his beautiful mate, kalia. his eyes instantly filled with love, turning a darker shade of crimson. uniqq walked towards her the second she began walking towards him, their love-filled-orbs never once leaving each others. "kalia," he purred the instant she was in front of him, and he quickly closed the distance between them. he nuzzled her neck, pulling her closer to him with his long tail, curling it protectively around her. she purred low and deep, pushing her face deep into the crevice of his collarbone/neck. "uniqq," kalia breathed, pulling away from him. once she pulled away from him, he took a second to admire her beauty. his heart nearly exploded when he saw her, and he grinned sheepishly at her. "would you like to go hunting with me?"

without waiting for an answer, he spun around and darted out of the camp. uniqq instantaneously heard the irregular patter of paws behind him, and he smirked. he pressed forward harder, whirring past trees and flowers. he kept running until he shot into an open clearing, and only then did he stop. the clearing was basically a meadow of light pink flowers. kalia came to a stop beside him, breathing hard. he looked sideways at her, a smirk plastered across his muzzle. he then flashed to the right, scooping up flowers with his tail, and flashed right back to her side. he bowed low, chuckling slightly, and offered the flowers to her. "for ma'lady," he growled lavishly, holding back his laughter. this sent kalia into a fit of giggles, her bright blue eyes lighting up. as she was reaching for the flower bouquet, a resounding click echoed around the clearing. both of them froze instantly, fear lighting up in their gaze. a loud gunshot then followed, as well as kalia letting loose a small gasp, and falling to the ground with a sickening thump. uniqq's world stopped suddenly, his heart freezing. a loud screech filled the air as he sunk to the ground next to his wounded mate, crying out. kalia lifted up her head slowly, her eyes groggy and sinking fast. "u-un..iqq..." she spluttered, her head drooping. her breathing was becoming shallower. "i love you." the three simple words clung to the air as her chest stopped pumping up and down.

she was gone. kalia was no longer. uniqq's vision became blurry as he pushed himself up slowly, wobbling side to side. he hobbled towards camp, swaying dangerously close to trees, seconds away from toppling to the ground and just giving up on life. what was the point, anyways? kalia was his world. but now she was gone, never to be seen ever again. he was blinded by grief as he entered his camp, but, little did he know, this was only the start of it. as he entered, he stopped dead. in front of him lay his mother and father, strewn on top of each other, limp and unmoving. and next to them- inishu, breathing lightly, on her side, blood surrounding her throat. his blood went cold at the sight. but, before he could make another move, booming laughter sounded from the side of him. two hunters emerged into his camp, holding rifles, gasoline, and matches. uniqq instantly dove into the nearest bush, cowering and shaking in fear. they began joking and jeering in a different tongue, gesturing at the bodies of his loved ones and laughing. a second later, another hunter appeared with the body of kalia. uniqq's heart stopped the second he saw his beloved, the one who he loved dearest of all. the soon-to-be-mother of his own. the hunter dropped her body on top of the ever-piling pile of bodies. at that moment, uniqq's world came crashing down, for the last and final time. the only time.

one of the hunters grabbed the gasoline and drenched his family with it. poor inishu was still breathing, but barely. the second the gasoline entered her wound, she cried out in pain. the hunter that was holding kalia noticed, pulled out his rifle, pointed it at her. and shot. inishu made no more noise. and with that, the hunter holding the gasoline drenched them again. now, it was the other hunter's turn- the one with the match. he lit it slowly, deliberately taking his time. then, he dropped it. right onto his family, the ones who had been there for him since the beginning, and stuck with him. the ones who had loved him ceaselessly, no matter what decision he made. the ones who were his family. the ones who cared for him. their bodies instantly rose up into flames, burning and crackling and popping. the hunters went on their way, laughing with each other, their ruthless deed done. disgust filled uniqq. disgust for the world, for himself, for the hunters. he watched as his whole camp eventually became engulfed in flames. the light of the fire reflected in his eyes as the darkness and anger slowly built up in his broken soul. he then made a decision. a decision of a lifetime. he spun around from the site, and into the woods, after the hunters. only one word was on his mind; a word that would stay for many years to come. vengeance.
