kuro is of royal blood as his father in considered a king in the demon world, and kuro is often referred to as the 'prince of darkness'. he had red paint which is of a blood-like consistency, with glowing red smoke that hovers above this paint. if the smoke is inhaled, it allows kuro access to one's emotions, memories and senses and he can manipulative them.
