The expedition went about as well as one could expect considering the circumstances. The "leader" of the group
was constantly disappearing due to falling into the many holes in the ground, often followed by the smallest cats
behind her. Even those who were bigger had to pay attention to avoid constantly tripping. Eventually, a tiny spark
tumbled into a hole. Before anyone could worry, the creature popped back up... sitting on the head of little cat!

Hazard Bugs were named due to their size of only 4 to 6 inches tall. Their sparks are hardly an inch and a half when born, while fourth children hardly make it to half an inch. Because band-aids are too big for their heads, they're replaced with little stickers, often star shaped or decorated with a smiley face. The icons on their screens oddly did not shrink with their subspecies and take up nearly the entire space. Because they're so small, bugs have many predators to watch out for, but they aren't an easy meal! Their strong third eye powers inflict fear on their foes, causing them to run away with their tails between their legs if they so much as make eye contact with the felines. To further protect themselves, Hazard Bugs typically make their homes in burrows where bigger creatures can't reach them. Their long, broad claws aid them in digging and their sleek fur keeps dirt from getting caught in their pelts. Their ears are short and can be clamped down on their heads to prevent anything from falling into them. Unfortunately, their night vision is very poor. To make up for this, they use their screens and light tails like flashlights. Bugs have more control over their glowing parts and can even communicate with them by blinking them or use them to attract a mate with color changing displays. While they can't run as fast as their taller relatives, they can get up to twenty miles per hour with those little legs! They can jump the same ten feet as Hazard Cats, but bugs make it seem slightly more impressive. Instead of eating meat, they feed on worms, insects, berries, and sometimes mushrooms. Because they have such a drastic size change from the original hazards, mutations such as goo grates, static screens, and Circuit Rot are sadly quite common.
