What is a Rainbow Paint Wolf? Well it’s easy, it’s a canine that both resembles a wolf and a dog, but prefers to be called wolf. It’s tail acts like a paintbrush, paint and all! Paint strangely grows from its fur and in order for the Paint Wolf to get rid of it; it needs to paint! They range around the size of your average Labrador, and come in many different colours, but not just of the Rainbow! They can be bright in colour, dark in colour, and even black, white and grey. They also come in albino colours, but that is extremely rare. Sometimes they even have powers with their paints, but it depends on how rare they are. There are many different sub breeds each with it's own unique traits. Rainbow Paint Wolf’s eat anything they feel like really, meat, fruit, fish; it’s all up to them! During mating season, the males will show off their paintings to attract a female to them. Between the Paint Wolves there isn’t much of a gender difference.

Caspian
Caspian, the captain of a ship, has taken Iwalani under his wing. He wants to formally adopt her at a later date, but hasn't really told her about this. Iwalani shadows Caspian in nearly everything he does. Wherever he goes on the ship, Iwalani isn't ever far behind. When she's older, Caspian plans on giving her an official position on the ship. They have an excellent relationship. Caspian acts as a father figure to Iwalani, and Iwalani adores and looks up to Caspian as she would any other RPW who cares for her. Caspian goes out of his way to look after the youngster, and Iwalani does her best to act appropriately when around her caregiver. She loves Caspian as she would a father, and Caspian loves and is protective of Iwalani as he would be with whatever child he'd someday biologically have.

Oyster
Oyster's pretty recluse, but Iwalani likes him quite a bit. If she were honest, she'd tell you that she has a bit of a crush on the poor boy, but she'd never come right out and tell you or him that. Oyster is an important crew member on the ship - the main engineer, he rarely comes up from the belly of the ship, as he's nearly always working hard on the engines and keeping them running smoothly. Iwalani will occasionally stop by the kitchen, pick up the food from the cook, Azlyn, and take it down to Oyster. She'll eat with him and chat for awhile, if he has time to do so. Usually she'll just drop the food off, have a two sentence conversation with him, watch him cram the food into his mouth and swallow it all in three bites, and then take the plate back up to Azlyn. While she doesn't always have a ton of time to spend with Oyster, she loves to be around him and wants to increase the good things in their relationship together in the nearby future.

Thackary
While Caspian may trust Thackary, Iwalani does not. A somewhat loyal member of the crew and daughter of two of the crew members, Thackary does her job well and never messes around or does anything wrong. She might talk back to authority and disagree with others, but she'll always get the job done the right way the first time. Caspian appreciates having her on the ship, and obviously has a little bit of an emotional attachment to her, thanks to her being the first child on board that was actually related to members of his crew, but Iwalani simply does not trust her. There's something about Thackary that makes her very uneasy, and she honestly doesn't want to be around her. Thackary just seems...snooty, and stuck-up, and as if she can't be trusted. If you asked her, Iwalani wouldn't be able to tell you why she thinks this - she only knows that she does.

Lola
Lola and Iwalani get along very well. Lola doesn't see Iwalani much, seeing as Iwalani is always at sea with Caspian and the crew and Lola is on land performing in music recitals, but when the two of them get together, they're always very happy around one another. Lola was Iwalani's first friend who didn't have anything to do with the ocean. Lola is oddly related to Thackary (she is an aunt to Thackary, her niece, as Lola's sister is Thackary's mother), so Iwalani has always been in contact with Lola's sea-loving family, but rarely the musician, Lola herself. Lola is PPS, and Iwalani loves to talk to her about how she deals with that in every day life, and how she even plans for her future. Because Lola is still older than Iwalani and has more life experience, Iwalani loves talking with her and getting advice from her. While she doesn't see Lola as much as she'd like to now, when she's older she plans on being able to take some unsupervised time away from the ship to go to see Lola as frequently as she can.
