A black comet of fur dove towards the ground. He came back up, looking around.
"Shoot!" he said. "I lost it!" The black mound of fur crawled around on the ground, looking
for the cricket he was just about to catch.
He was going to get up when he saw some motion at the edge of his vision. A cricket!
"Ahah!" he said with a grin, leaping up again and coming down. He cupped his tiny paws
over a bunch of grass, then opened it to reveal a cricket.
"Gotcha now!" he said proudly. But the cricket didn't follow rules and pretend to be caught. It jumped
right out of his paws, causing the black mound of fur to become angered. "Oh come on!" he said. "I spent
a billion years trying to catch you!" Since young vaikis don't have a good sense of time, it was obvious he was
exaggerating. Or was he?
