Aristaeus literally always looks good. The how of this is a popular mystery among the residents of the Dollhouse but Tae is tight-lipped on the subject. When asked she always laughs and says dismissively, "It's a talent of mine." Privately Tae absolutely detests getting dirty, and she is always so well put-together but she deigns not to get involved in anything that runs the potential for muck. She's somewhat lackadaisical with her emotions, always swinging from one extreme to the other, but Bombini helps level her out in these instances. She can be very flippant when it comes to another's opinions and emotions, although she often isn't consciously aware she's hurting someone's feelings by being this way. She has a sort of dirty sense of humor that she rarely indulges in as laughing at a crude joke isn't considered very elegant.
She speaks very carefully and almost painfully slowly but only does this because when she gets excited she has a rather obvious Southern accent. After being teased in her youth for this by another Doll and seeing her human owner teased for a similar reason she has developed a flat way of speaking that usually comes across as her being arrogant; because she speaks with such trepidation she often comes across as talking down to someone, or speaking that way because she thinks them stupid. (This is not the case, but Tae doesn't realize she gives this impression and so has never had the chance to explain.) She likes to pamper herself and Bombini and thinks everyone deserves the good things in life. Tae enjoys being spoiled but she also likes spoiling others. She will fight literally anyone that speaks down to her or dismisses her and while she always starts with her words she certainly won't stop there if the other Doll persists.
shadow's personality;;idealistic || responsible || loyal || respectful || debonair
Bombini exists to balance Tae out, of that they are certain. They are so obviously opposite her in almost every way; where Tae is more concerned about others' opinions of her Bombini is concerned about her opinions of others. He is always reminding her to be patient and be kind, to remember that she does not know what another Doll is going through, to realize that maybe if she gave someone another chance they could walk away friends. He is more amiable than her in almost every situation and far more philosophical. They enjoy puzzles and riddles and strange, thought-invoking jokes; they like discussing things that almost no one else likes to discuss. (When did the universe start? Why? Is there a reason the stars are where they are?) He is incredibly loyal to Tae especially but also to anyone they consider friends.
He is very polite and speaks in an even, light cadence. He does not share the Southern accent that Tae has but does her best to hide; it was actually Bombini who taught her how to mimic a more 'professional' way of speaking. They have a strict moral code and treat everyone professionally, no matter how they treat them. He however holds grudges very well; he can nurse a dislike from another Doll for eons, should he feel it's deserved. Tae and him differ on this point; she is constantly on him about forgiving those who had upset them, and letting bygones be bygones. No matter what excuses Bombini generates Tae can always tell when he's lying. Due to his lack of limbs Bombini must be carried around by Tae, who sometimes uses him as a pointing instrument. This doesn't upset him whatsoever because when she puts him into someone's face to shout at them he most definitely is shouting at them too. Despite his ability to change length he prefers being around Tae's height.
relationship;;Tae's best friend is Haydn and their shadow Makani. Their character page can be found
here.
They met in the room Haydn considers theirs, a beautiful place in the Dollhouse that is full up of beaches and the sea.
