their eye glows, and their markings glow slightly.

they have tail edits, longer whiskers, and battle scars.

✘ where did the scars come from ✘
He got his scars becouse of self-defense, you see his left eye has some rather interesting properties. Even his tears give power, what power you may ask? The power of electricity. A small bottle can give so much power that may last for at least 3 years. He seeing it, of course ended up selling it. For most people that was enough... not in one case trough. That one case tought him how wary you have to be in this buisnes. One day a man wated his eye, as he belived that it will give him the power for all eternity. Matias barley got alive then. Fortunately he was able to overpower the opponent with a bottle of red wine he grabbed from a random stall. He, till this day remembers the wine that saved him. As the wounds disapeared, two of them stayed to remind him about how careful you must stay.

Years pass and pass and you have no control over this. You just want to rest and leave this curse behind, be normal. Sure it was fun for five years but now it's just routine you cannot escape. They'll find you anyway.❞

As now he's (in human years) 43, he doesn't gain much enjoyment of his as he assumed "adventures". His character changed drasticly and he bacame more grumpy and in most sytuations while talking he always adds a "kid" at the end. His plans for the next year are to find some nice island and be there forever as he never made much friends nor found love, he only has his saltshaker, where he keeps all his tears and a parrot named Curry. Why curry? Well, to say for short while he was having curry, she flew over. That was their first meeing. In the end he ended up keeping her, it's a storry for another time.

where did the scars come from: Legend says that the scars were given by the sky deity in the fight for the control of the rain cycle. It was a perilous battle in which the sea deity (Myrsky) won but was left wounded and scarred for all eternity.
why does it look old and worn?: Myrsky is an ancient sea deity that controls salt water and the rain cycle (e.g storms). Myrsky was the name given to this diety by local populations on nearby islands and has been apart of their lore and legends throughout the ages.
