Please note that this whole form is from second person, but it is Fara explaining everything to "you", whoever that may be.

You watched the dragon, your feet planted in the dirt below you. Even from here, you could hear the raspy whisper of the dragon in front of you. It's snakelike body was coiled, and it stared at you with a predatory fascination. The creature was an off red colour, and you could hear it's monotone hiss. You swallowed hard, and carefully unsheathed your dagger. This was it. You were going to die, be eaten by a whispering death because you had fallen into its tunnel. Before you could brew up more depressing thoughts, a loud roar shook the tunnel. You looked up, only to see a four winged dragon headbutt the whispering death. The snakelike creature went sliding across the tunnels floor, eyes sparking dangerously. Suddenly, the four winged dragon bared his teeth, brown eyes glinting with cold malice. He snapped at the whispering death's neck, yet before be could deal a lethal blow, a shrill cry of,
"Stop!" rose from the depths of the tunnel. In the distance, you could see a figure running towards you. She wore her long hair in a braid, and a bright red bandanna around her neck. In one hand, she clutched a torch, and the other was outstretched towards the dragons.
As she reached them, she spoke to the two snarling creatures.
"Guys..." She took a pause, catching her breath, "You can't... Just go trying... To kill... Each other."
She hung the torch on a hook in the wall, one you hadn't noticed before, and then placed one hand on the nose of the whispering Death, and the other on the nose of the stormcutter.
"Let's all be good dragons, and not run away to fight each other, kay?"
Then the girl looked up. Her bright blue eyes met with yours, and the smile on her face faltered.
"What are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing."
"But you won't. So, what brought you to the tunnel systems?"
"I fell in..." You murrmered.
"Can you speak up?" You almost laughed. Here, this girl was with her hands on the noses of two angry looking dragons, yet she was still making small talk.
"I fell in the tunnels."
A smile grew on her face.
"Funny. That is exactly how I met Sulk."
She gestured to the whispering death.
"How did you meet the four winged one?" You questioned.
"Oh. You mean Smog. Well, his story is less comedy, and makes you think about humanity. Are you sure you want to hear it?"
"Of course." You responded.
"Well first, let me give you the basics about Smog.
Rider; Fara Greycloak
Name; Smog
Gender; Male
Species; Stormcutter
Each time the girl, Fara, would mention Smog's name, he would look up and give a soft purr. You smiled. This Fara seemed to truly love her dragons, and they seemed to return the kindness.
"So how did you and Smog meet?"
Instantly, you can see a memory flicker at the edges of Fara's eyes, and she seems to cave in on herself.
"I knew Smog before I was my rider. My brother had found him on a nearby island. Even then he was very protective. He didn't like many strangers, but he and I were on even ground. It's funny. I thought he could protect anybody. My brother and him, when together, just seemed so powerful. It was amazing really. They were the a pair of the best dragon riders. Accuracy, grace, power, you name it, and they had it."
Fara took her hand off of Sulk's nose, and reached up to the red bandanna tied around her neck.
"This was my brothers." She said this with a hint of regret, and you wondered what could have happened to her brother. Almost as if she had read your mind, Fara continued talking, answering your question.
"Smog and my brother went off adventuring. Typical dragon rider behavior. I didn't think much of it. I mean, I didn't even say goodbye but I wish now, I had. It was only later that day that day I began to get worried. Smog and my brother had missed two meals, something they had never done before. I stayed up all night, waiting for them, but they never came home. After a day and a half, I decided to try and find them. I set out on a boat, and after about an hour, I found Smog, unconscious, on a nearby beach. My brother was nowhere in sight, but I was not going to leave his dragon all alone. Instead, I stayed with his dragon until it woke up. When smog woke up, he instantly tried to fly away, yet one of his wings was twisted at an awkward angle. He and I had to take the boat I brought back to Berk, and when I got there, I found some grave news."
Fara swallowed hard.
"What did you learn?" You questioned.
"That my brother was dead. The dragon hunters had got to him. They found his body washed up onto the shore."
You weren't sure what to say, so you gave a soft apology.
"I'm sorry. About your brother, I mean."
Fara shrugged, yet obviously appreciated your apology.
"After that, Smog just sort of stuck near to me. I guess I reminded him of my brother. But we soon became fast friends, and now he even is starting to let my ride him. Of course, he isn't always a bundle of joy. How about we talk about his personality!"
Personality; "Although at first he might seem like a ruthless killing machine, with a cold heart and evil intentions, in truth Smog is just extremely overprotective. This, in theory, seems sweet and cute, however it can be very problematic for me. For example, it makes trying to spend time with other dragons almost impossible. Smog seems to know whenever I'm even near another dragon, and will do whatever he can to reach me and destroy the other dragon. So, it really isn't sweet or cute at all."
Fara sighed, gently stroking both of her dragons.
"He is getting better though." She paused.
"After losing his rider, he was really torn up.... I think he just doesn't want to lose anyone ever again. But if you get to know him, Smog is a real cuddly bunny. He loves attention, and is always willing to be by my side."
You smiled slightly at Fara. She smiled back, and Smog narrowed his eyes. He flicked his tail once, and then stalked up next to you. You swallowed, yet a bright smile flashed across Fara's face.
"Awh, he likes you!"
Her blue eyes held a teasing light as she spoke.
"He doesn't like many people, want to hear about his relationships?"
Relationships; Fara smiled.
"Smog has a chaotic tendency near others. This can make his relationships hard to maintain, yet he does tolerate one other dragon... That's a good thing... Right?
Art by horsy1050Smog seems to adore me, although this may be because I smell like my brother. But that adds one positive relationship to his life, which is a good thing. He is always, and I mean
always there for me. In an almost stalker-like way. He always tries to help me, although this can get out of hand quickly. If I am fighting with someone, or even just arguing, he is quick to intercept, and stop whoever is bothering me. He can get a bit annoying, especially when I am with other people, but I still love him.

Smog sadly seems to really hate Sulk, my whispering death. See, although Smog may hate Sulk, Sulk follows Smog around like a lost puppy. Sulk doesn't seem to learn that if a dragon is glaring at you, it most likely means it doesn't like you. I try to be positive about their relationship with each other, but it can get overwhelming. Having to deal with two hungry dragons is enough, I really don't need to have them be trying to kill each other at any given moment.

From what I have seen, there is at least one other dragon that Smog tolerates. I don't think that this dragon has an owner, but I have nicknamed him Cecil. Smog and Cecil seem to adore each other. This is lucky, because I think that if Smog didn't like Cecil, he would only have one friend."
Fara makes an over exaggerated point to herself, and the stormcutter growls at her mocking comment.
"Calm down. I'm only joking..."
The stormcutter's mood drastically shifts, and he goes from seeming almost depressed to seeming quite content. You can tell that although this stormcutter may be ridden by Fara, he holds quite a lot of emotional influence over the petite Viking. Smog nudges his head against your hand, and underneath the smooth scales you can feel the rumble of a deep purr. Fara's smile grows. Something flickers in her bright blue eyes.
"So, do you want to get out of these tunnels? I mean, it's almost been an hour!"
Your eyes widen in shock. Had you really been down here for a whole hour?
Fara grabs the torch off of the nearby wall, and gestures for you to follow. You watch the two dragons, Sulk and Smog, for a brief moment.
"Uhh... Are you sure you should leave these two alone together?" You question Fara.
"I'm sure they will be fine." She responds with a shrug. You take one last look at the two dragons, then dash after Fara. Despite her nonchalant attitude about leaving the dragons together, you swear that as you leave you can hear this raspy hiss and low throated growl of two dragons.
Taming Entry; This taming entry may seem a bit different than what you are used to. This is mostly because Fara and Smog knew each other before they were dragon and rider. Throughout it, I simply tried to express the relationship of friendship growing, yet not from the point it was formed.
