What Is A Nyrn?
Nyrn are small/medium sized energy absorbing creatures standing at around 30-50cm tall. Originally found in the mountains, they have thick bushy fur across their body, face and paws, they are built for cold climates. Even though Nyrn have retractable claws and sharp teeth, they are herbivorous (vegetarians), they use their sharp claws and long tail to climb trees to pick berries and fruits from trees. Nyrn are extremely adaptable and so do make good companion animals.

Nyrn are born with the gift/ability to absorb energies. Each Nyrn has a different type(s) of energy in which they can absorb. After absorbing these energies, they can use them as powers. Nyrn can display this power in an orb form/psi ball.

These sundials are usually very beautiful and inlaid with pieces of granite to give them some extra color. All the pieces are hand-carved by Captain himself using special, sharpened stones that help to make the distinctive patterns. Sometimes, he'll also add metal to a sundial along with the usual stone. These versions are usually very detailed and complex, taking much longer to make than the normal stone ones he specializes in. There is even somewhat of a market for his sundials among other Nyrn. Captain doesn't charge money for his sundials but instead trades them for parts he needs or pretty stones to inlay his newest project with. Sometimes, he'll even give one away for free or as a gift to someone else. These are usually the most beautiful sundials he creates and his way of showing someone what they mean to him.

Eleana is a proud Nryn, flaunting her shimmering orange fur every chance she gets. She can be quite a narcissist when given many compliments. Though she is a big softy. She enjoys others company and goes out of her way to get a pet or two from others. She's a sweetheart who likes seeing people smile. It makes her inner light burn bright at others happiness. She would do just about anything to keep her loved ones safe even if it means getting her lovely coat a little dirty. Eleana does love it when she gets a bath. The feeling of a humans finger through her think fur is delightful to her. She can be quite the charmer -which comes in handy when she wants a few scratches behind the ear.
