Alignak is a rather interesting character, she keeps many aquariums and has a fascination with the ocean and what it could possibly be hiding. She aspires to be a deep sea researcher and hopes to set up a base at the bottom of Challenger Deep. Ali has an attraction to dangerous and adrenaline-rush causing situations like her biological mother, and will go snowboarding with her whenever she gets the chance. Also like her mother, she is a bit of a recluse, spending more of her time shut in her room with the lights off, watching her fish swim around in their tanks. While her similarities to her father are few, she does like watching him work on his puppets when she comes out of her room, usually at night. It's rare to see Ali out during the day, since she prefers running around the house at night. She often pairs up with her stepsister Yang, and they usually spend time curled up together quietly talking when they should be asleep.
